Hey! Since when is 40 considered old?? :( I was thinking it was more like 60 or so. :bitelip:

No, 40 isn't old. I just like to tease him about it. 60 ain't old either. My mom turns 60 this year and she is definitely not old.:)

Welcome Back Shelley.........

There was a woman from Florida that is visiting Philly this week, she was interviewed on our local FOX News this morning, she said it was hotter here than when she left Florida. There were two woman from Philly that passed away today from the heat.

Well, I'm going to sign off now, good night all........:wave2:

Nancy,

Mike told me about you taking Cabo into the shelter during the storm. :thumbsup2

I would have done the same thing girl. If they wouldn't let Candy in, I'd wait outside with her or found some other shelter.

My poochie always came first.

i can vouch for that.:( :(
underdog was always a distant second to her poochie.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

HI gang! We are home. After a delay in our flight home we got in about 2 am. Boy was it HOT, HOT, HOT!!! But it looks like it was hotter here. :scared1: Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I was looking at some pictures on one of our local news channel's website and this one shows what the clouds looked like when the storm came in. This was taken in the Village of Sussex (it is located between Nancy and I). Look at the wall of that cloud. :scared1:

We went down to look at the flooding tonight. The town just south of us is on a big lake and the lake has over the banks. It is actually over the beach and up to the business across the street. It is really high.

We then went down to Waukesha to see the river. The water there is really high. It is up to the bridge right after the dam. It is really running quick too. It is probably at least 10 feet over the riverwalk.

Suz took a lot of pictures, I'll see if I can get any uploaded.

Hey you daredevils, none of that until after the cruise!;)

Hey everyone

We are back from our trip to Disneyland and boy was it an experience. We had fun when my parents were not with us. And overall they were not all that bad but mom did have her moments that Iwould have liked to crawl into a hole.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I will try to pop in more often. I now have a computer that is up and running again and more time since I am not planning a trip at this moment.

I am doing a trip report and just started it tonight so feel free to stop by if you are interested.

We have missed everyone. Hope to talk to you all soon.

Good morning everyone:goodvibes

Forecast today is overcast and rain:rolleyes: - my plans for today were to oil all the wooden garden furniture - guess I wont be doing that then!

I'm going to ebay lots of stuff instead. Had a sort out of Ellis' wardrobe - theres so much stuff he didnt wear thats all designer so I may as well get a few $$ fo them. All helps with the holiday fund:thumbsup2

Welcome home Shelley and Woody

Welcome home Di

Well since all the Brits are on right now and I have a few spare seconds, I thought I'd just pop in and say hi.

Work has been extremely busy and I don't see it letting up prior to the Repo. So my time here will be limited (unless I decide to blow off a day and post - that never happens :rolleyes1 ).

All is fine with us. Lots of rain, but we sit high up so no flooding in our area. We were down at our nephew's b-day party when it started (they are near the airport) and when we left, it wasn't letting up. Took us over 1 1/2 hours to get home that night - usually takes 35 minutes. Freeways were closed, side streets were flooded. A lot of turning (west-north-west-north) to get us home. We made it though.

Hi Jeff - sorry I missed you yesterday  - glad to hear you're all ok.
