That's why I'm looking forward to an extra day at sea this time, more time to spend with the BOBers and more time to do some of the things we have missed on past cruises :thumbsup2

I chose the western last year cos we werent certain we'd like being on a ship:lmao: :lmao: - what niave fools we were!:lmao: - we were glad it was an Eastern next time to give us MORE time onboard.

Having early dining does cut your day short and you feel more rushed, but at least you get to relax in the evening which I enjoy too. Like Cass said though we did miss every sunset (and I'm not up early enough for the sunrises:rolleyes1 ) but having Ellis early works best for us as we eat early at home.

"Stay Awake Karen!!!"

Thanks Andy - I'm trying:rotfl2:

Are the navigators likely to change between now and when we cruise much:confused3

And can anyone remind me of the link to see them:confused3

I REALLY need to sort out my favourites again - I cant find anything:rolleyes:

So what day did we decide on for the meets again?

There was the first meet, Palo, Lumieres and the pool party.

I should really do some exercise but I can barely stand up let alone treadmill.

We're off out to eat tonight at an italian - pasta and pizza and lots of red wine:banana:

A dress I ordered arrived today...

from a retailer off ebay - brand new and a third of the original price - its lovely! (and it fits which is an added bonus!:lmao: )

Cheryl, the dessert buffet is the same evening on the Eastern as it is on the Western - Thursday night at Lumiere's at 11PM.

Jay and I went to it when we sailed the Western in 2004 but didn't think it was good enough to warrant a second visit when we sailed East the following year. And we always have late dining so it's kind of hard (even for us) to leave enough room for dessert after finishing dinner shortly before the buffet starts.

Thanks Brenda. We did go to the dessert buffet the first time we cruised which was in 2000 and we weren't that impressed then either. I think what really turned us off was the very long line to get into Lumieres. I don't remember them having a chocolate fountain then either. I was just thinking after reading about chocolate covered strawberries maybe it would be worth trying again after all these years. We'll see.

I may be going too far but our DD, Lori's DD, and Cath'ss DD will bee ST's too. We may be able to form scavenger hunt teams with an older "leader". Just a thought.:rolleyes1

Sounds great :thumbsup2 Looks like they could have quite a few teams or we could put a few of the older kids with a few of the younger kids.

So, do you want me to continue the questions on here and do up one for the kids while on the ship? Whatever everyone wants i'm happy to do.:thumbsup2

I vote for both if you don't mind Lori. It's been fun reading the trivia questions here :thumbsup2 and if you don't mind putting a list together for the kids for onboard I think they'd have fun with it too

Karen am I remembering right, did you ask awhile ago if the T Rex restaurant at Downtown Disney would be open by Christmas time? I saw in my Orlando attractions magazine that it is scheduled to open this fall  so it should be open in time :cool1: We want to check this out when we are there too

Time to deliver the pizza kits and cookie dough, be back later folks.......:wave2:

Thats bad news Jeff.....at least you found out about it in time to sort something out.

Yeah, the only way I knew is Suz' friend from Vegas is coming in at the end of May to watch DS for 2 weeks (he's out before summer camp starts) and her flight back got changed. I received an email for that since I paid for her flight.

So as I'm talking to her, I said I should check our flights and see if it got changed again (it moved by 30 minutes once, but it was still non-stop). I log on and see they put us on the connector.

They never called me or sent me an email. What is the point of having email and phone notification numbers if they aren't going to call/email you? AirTran is notorious for this. They won't contact you until after the last change (we had 7 changes for our flights for the Jan '07 cruise).

Luckily I found it quickly and hopefully before anyone else on the 8:45 p.m. flight, so all the seats weren't taken yet.

It was still showing the non-stop last Saturday because I called to see what it would cost to have the points put back into my account or move to a different flight. AirTran is only $120 to fly one way, far less than the 1% you try to get when using miles (it takes 15,000 miles for a one-way). My guess is it changed Thursday night during their update, and luckily I had another flight that changed (our friends) that tipped us off.

Hopefully with more meets planned we should get to meet people more this time round. I saw plenty of the people on our dining rotation, but not much of the people on lates.

She says this because she was stuck talking to us the whole time. We must have drove her nuts. :sad1:

Any wii'ers bought the wii fit yet?

We were going to get it yesterday but didnt in the end.

Its had great reviews so I might get it soon.

For some reason, I don't think it is out here until later in May.

Let us know how it is.

I think it is suppose to be around $150 US.

Yes - it was me who asked! - glad to know it will be open in time:banana: - Ellis should like that (and Mommy gets to go to the xmas shop at the same time;) )
