I wonder when the Janice and Mark and their friends from Tomah are planning on doing?


Al was never able to get ahold of his friend for me to call his sister yesterday. Maybe today if there's a chance before the musical or after we go out for dinner to celebrate. We have time yet to get this all sorted out.

Our plans are to fly down Fri, stay at port, and fly home Sun so we can do the MNSSHP.

Do you want to come over on the 4th? We'll be cooking out in the backyard and watching the fireworks (they won't be right above us, but we can still see a ton).

O.K., I just pulled the biscuit canister to look at the Nutrion Facts.

For 2 biscuits:

Fiber <1 gram
Calories 100
Fat 1 gram (0 saturated)​

So if I figure for 1 biscuit (that would equate to 1 big donut and a ball) it would be:

Fiber <1 gram
Calories 50
Fat 1/2 gram​

Not sure how many points that calculates out to.

Like I said, I need to check the oil consumption to figure how much of that to count in. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I'm unsure.

I use Peanut, is there a lower or better oil to use?

Wow, better make sure next year that we buy them as soon as they are on sale

i saw that on sell and ship last nite.
i was looking at the disney princess sign they had too.(just what i need, another sign for the garage wall)
glad i didnt bid on the cel. no way i'd want to go against andy.
i'd be on DIS double secret probation for life.

The only problem is, I went past what I said I would bid for it, looks like I'll be working some overtime in the next week or so...........

The big clue to see if you are in trouble is to see if the travel insurance companies will let you get coverage for the airline. If not, then I'd be worried.

May want to look into insurance, at least for the flight portion.

I already looked into insurance for the flights but because we used frequent flier miles to get our tickets we can't insure them. If MW were to fold I think we would still go but just drive down. The other airlines fares are way to high for that week to buy now I am able to buy insurance to cover our DVC points, I might still do that.
Did you guys decide if you're going to WDW at Christmas time or not?

Actually the 4th is a great time to come to WI. Weather is really good. We could take you to the sites in WI as well as Chicago.

It sounds like we're all planning on flying the same days and that's what we'll need for a group rate or charter! We'll just have to find out what days Nancy and family are planning on.

I'll be there in spirit (I'd be there in reality if I could afford the airfare )

We usually go to TGI's on July 4th - its the nearest thing we can get to going to America

I did a July 4th party once. I was 7 months pregnant with Ellis and we did a fancy dress aprty. I went as the statue of liberty. Painted my face and arms green, I had a foam hat with the liberty spikes and made a torch and book. Didnt need any padding - Ellis provided the big round body

Neils went as a convict from Alcatraz, other friends came as Al Capone, Dorothy from wizard of oz, hawaian girl, loads of others. Got some great photos but no scanner

I decorated the garden with american flags, photocopied dollars extra large nd hung them up like bunting, did all american food, it was great fun.

Makes me want to do it all again

IF, notice that is a BIG IF, we go, we would have to do it before Xmas. Depending on what DS's school schedule is like, we would look at the weekend right before. I think you guys are down there at that time.
