Nancy - Love the pics! Everyone looks great - I love the dresses. One question though...why 2 different styles of bridesmaids' dresses?

Good morning/afternoon everyone! Gotta go get to work, but I'll check in later!

Palo....we never made it there.

Deck 7 aft....I'd like to spend some quiet time relaxing.

A Konked Kooler - can you believe I didn't have one????

Unless DS really wants to go, we will probably skip Golden Mickeys and Twice Charmed. We might try to persuade DS out of the club to see Dreams, but if not, we'll skip that too - just because we've seen them and we can do other things on the ship.

We will have to do the character breakfast - even though the format is not as nice as it used to be, DS had a fabulous time dancing with the characters. I will just make sure to have room service brekkie before we go - I didn't eat much either 'cuz I was taking pics!!!!

Melody hasn't seen this one yet....this is my DS at character breakfast - he got to dance with Stitch:

I love this picture of Thomas! The expression on his face is priceless. :lovestruc

I think it might be bridesmaids and maids of honor.

Is there something you missed doing on your last cruise that you absolutely will not miss out on this time? And...is there something you will skip this time around?

Missed and will be doing: Spending time with the KK gang, Palo's Brunch, and Rockin Bar D

Skip: Most if not all of the shows, unless they put the new Toy Story one on board.

Good Morning All

Kind of a slow night.

Weather here is warming up quick. We are supposed to be at 99 by Friday.

Well today is half day for the kids, which means Scott does not get to sleep today. He will have to get Mac from school and then spend the afternoon with the girls. While I work.

Hope everyone has a good day. I am off to work.

DH here...

morning Jeff

Make it through tax time OK? I had a co-worker that had to retain an acct'nt and he was able to get to the USPS bby ten to midnight, to beat the deadline. He had to sort out his fathers estate along with his own taxes. Plus his house and a rental in another state.

Is there something you missed doing on your last cruise that you absolutely will not miss out on this time?

I have yet to do step into Studio Sea (or is it C). Suz wants to do more "family" activities that are listed in the Navigator. However, I believe she will have us doing that in August, but I'm sure we'll do some on the BOB

See a couple of the shows. Not all of them, just a couple I think DS may enjoy.

Spend more time in the Jazz club. Did it a couple of cruises ago, but not much this last time. It was good one-on-one time relaxing with Suz. Although others can join us if they want for a relaxing evening.

Deck 7 for some sun. We did it in January '07, but never got there in October '07.

Finally make it to the whole Pirate Party (if it is still going). 5 cruises and I still haven't seen it. Usually too tired.

And...is there something you will skip this time around?

Not sure if there is anything I'd skip that I did on the KK cruise. I skipped a lot of stuff on that cruise from previous cruises.

Suz hasn't asked for the time off yet.

Doesn't matter for me, I have tons of time and the last 2 weeks of December are like a ghost town in the office.

I don't think the price will move before the weekend, so hopefully Suz will have a chance to ask off. I think her boss is out still for a couple of days.

The pricing isn't bad (except for the rental car portion). Plus we'd get to see MVMCP. :santa: :cool1:

:cool1: :cool1: Tell her boss to come back quick!:cool1: :cool1:

We'll have a car:goodvibes

DH here....Since I have not seen a funny from Chris in awhile, here is one....

NUN WAS SITTING AT THE AIRPORT, WAITING FOR HER
FLIGHT TO CHICAGO.SHE LOOKED OVER IN THE CORNER AND SAW ONE OF THOSE
WEIGHT MACHINES THAT TELLS YOUR FORTUNE AND THOUGHT TO HERSELF, "I'LL
GIVE IT A TRY AND SEE WHAT IT TELLS ME."

SHE WENT OVER TO THE MACHINE, STEPPED UP ON THE SCALE AND PUT HER
NICKEL IN. OUT CAME A CARD THAT READ, "YOU ARE A NUN, YOU WEIGH 128
LBS, AND YOU ARE GOING TO CHICAGO "

THE NUN SAT BACK DOWN. SHE TOLD HERSELF THAT THE MACHINE PROBABLY GIVES
THE SAME CARD TO EVERYONE. THE MORE SHE THOUGHT ABOUT IT THE MORE
CURIOUS SHE GOT SO SHE DE C IDED TO TRY IT AGAIN

SHE WENT BACK TO THE MACHINE AND AGAIN PUT HER NICKEL IN, AND OUT CAME
A CARD THAT READ, "YOU ARE A NUN, YOU WEIGH 128 LBS, YOU ARE GOING TO
CHICAGO AND YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY A FIDDLE."

THE NUN SAYS TO HERSELF, "I KNOW THAT IS WRONG, I HAVE NEVER PLAYED A
MUSICAL INSTRUMENT EVEN ONCE IN MY LIFE." SHE SAT BACK DOWN.

FROM OUT OF NOWHERE A COWBOY CAME OVER AND SAT DOWN, PUTTING HIS
FIDDLE CASE ON THE SEAT BETWEEN THEM. WITHOUT THINKING, SHE OPENED THE
COWBOY'S CASE, TOOK OUT THE FIDDLE, AND STARTED PLAYING BEAUTIFUL < /B>
MUSIC.

SURPRISED AT WHAT SHE HAD DONE, SHE LOOKED OVER AT THE MACHINE,
THINKING, "THIS IS INCREDIBLE, I'VE GOT TO TRY THIS AGAIN."

BACK TO THE MACHINE SHE WENT, PUT IN ANOTHER NICKEL, AND ANOTHER CARD
CAME OUT. IT READ, "YOU ARE A NUN, YOU WEIGH 128 LBS , YOU ARE GOING
TO CHICAGO AND YOU ARE GOING TO BREAK WIND."

NOW SHE KNOWS THE MACHINE IS WRONG AS SHE THOUGHT TO HERSELF, "I'VE NEVER BROKEN WIND IN PUBLIC A SINGLE TIME IN MY LIFE." BUT GETTING DOWN OFF THE MACHINE SHE SLIPPED, AND AS SHE WAS STRAINING TO KEEP HERSELF FROM FALLING TO THE FLOOR, SHE BROKE WIND.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNED, SHE SAT BACK DOWN AND LOOKED AT THE MACHINE. SHE SAID TO HERSELF, "THIS IS TRULY REMARKABLE. I'VE GOT TO TRY THIS ONE MORE TIME."

SHE WENT BACK TO THE MACHINE, PUT IN ANOTHER NICKEL, AND ANOTHER CARD
CAME OUT. IT READ,

"YOU ARE A NUN, YOU WEIGH 128 LBS, YOU HAVE FIDDLED AND FARTED AROUND
AND MISSED YOUR FLIGHT TO CHICAGO "

POR trasportation wasn't bad when we were there, but that was 2006. We'll be there for a bit of our trip in July. I can let you know how it is then.

Paige,

I never responded to this part of your post.

We've stayed at PO-R a couple of times. I really like the resort. Keeping in mind I haven't stayed at CBR yet, I would say it is my favorite Moderate.

The transportation isn't bad there if you catch the bus at the front bus stop. We've gotten on there only to be packed when we pull away or after the first bus stop. By the second (near the part we usually stay in) it is completely full.

We have not done the bus (well, at least not in the a.m.) to any park other than MK. We've always had a car and it was much easier taking that to the parks, especially if you park hop. We can easily go from AK, to MGM, to Ecpot with the car.

Because the bus goes to PO-FQ before PO-R (except for trips to the MK), I don't think I'd stay there without a car. I'd then pick PO-FQ, but the resort doesn't appeal to me as much any more (it is Suz' favorite though, so we go back. Probably because we stayed there on our honeymoon).

CSR would not be bad either, but like I said, been there, done that. I like the resort, but would still like to try the CBR.

So Suz' has the decision of either AS-Music or CBR. I think she'll pick CBR.

Ok, having a bad day at work :headache: ....vending machine is just down the hall.

"I WILL NOT STRESS-EAT, I WILL NOT STRESS-EAT...."

Well you won't be there when we land. We'd be in a day earlier than you.

However, if we could fit 6 in your car, we could get you the free parking at the parks since we'd be resort guests. :thumbsup2

I may just tell them I do have a car to get the pass and then give it to you guys.

"I WILL NOT STRESS-EAT, I WILL NOT STRESS-EAT...."

Try having a grocery store right across the street. :sad2:

Sucks when you forget to eat breakfast and are sitting here hungry. Talk about impulse shopping. They tell you to go to the grocery store AFTER you've already eaten.

Is there something you missed doing on your last cruise that you absolutely will not miss out on this time? And...is there something you will skip this time around?

I missed almost all the sunsets and sunrises, I WON'T be doing that again! Late dinner for us this time :thumbsup2
We also skipped Palo last time. We might do that this time, although I'm not really thrilled with the new menu.

Also, more time with the BOBers, we were so busy with Kira last time, it was hard to find time to visit.

If we don't have Kira, we will be skipping all the shows, except the welcome aboard and farewell shows.
