Funny you should ask Cheryl...............I've had a horrible day, but wasn't going to say anything about it. When turning the meter book in this afternoon, I actually broke down in my boss' office. I am sitting here now in my chair with the heating pad laying across both knees. I'm also feeling a bit woozy because of the pain medication that I took after dinner.

I'll be OK once the weather changes for the better...........;)

Thanks for thinking of me..........:goodvibes

Hope you feel better soon Andy.

How many more years left until retirement?

I'm leaving the office now.

I'll check back with y'all later tonight.

I actually might watch your Idol show tonight Andy, I hear it is Neil Diamond night.

BTW, I only have 12 posts left on this thread, so I may take a breather for a couple days. Can you guys run it to the end? I'll be at 700 posts (18.67%), and I think that is quite a few for here. If I hit 750, that would be 20% and way too many for one person.

Sorry for monopolizing the thread.

I'm planning my last scheduled day of work to be April 30, 2010...if I make it that long............:lmao:

So, that would be 2 years from tomorrow!!! :thumbsup2

Now you're getting like me. :rotfl:

BTW, what day were you down again? 18th or 19th? If 18th, are you doing MVMCP on the 19th?

We land in Orlando at 6:05pm on the 19th. I would love to do MVMCP but we are staying off grounds that first night and I really don't want to buy tickets in case the flight is delayed because of weather. I was really sad when they released the dates and I saw the last night was the 19th :sad1: As I've been sitting here reading the posts about MVMCP it has gotten me to thinking if we stayed at a Value resort that first night instead of off grounds and we land on time maybe we could do the party IF it's not sold out and they have tickets for sale that night. We wou;dn't bethere right at 7 but I bet we could be there by 7:30 if our flight was on time. I really don't want to buy tickets ahead of time and then not get there in time because of a flight delay. I'm going to have to think about this some more. Rach was very sad when she found out we wouldn't be able to go to MVMCP too.

Yeah, he'll be back on Thursday to run the thread to page #250 and post #3750

Oh good Lori you're OK too!!! In case I'm not on again when you are, Have a GREAT trip!!!!
Was I any help to your friend about DVC? She was very nice to talk to!

Yes. Thank you for talking to her. You and Andy both gave her lots of great info! She is going to buy now!

Exactly what Andy said. :lmao:

Right now we're waiting to see if Suz can have the time off without jeapordizing having off a couple days between the holidays (i.e. 12/26 and 1/2). Her boss was a real treat yesterday I guess.

We're trying to narrow down the hotels, but I found I can get the Hyatt at MCO for $170 including the taxes for that Saturday night (we have an 8:00 a.m. flight on Sunday, so at the airport by 6:00 - who knows how bad holiday travel will be).

We also found the Dolphin for $159/night. My rate for Caribbean Beach got corrected on AAA's website, so that goes to $215 on Friday.

Then we're kicking around AS-Music as well.

Not sure if I want to switch hotels twice over 4 days, so we may just pick one for 3 nights and then the Hyatt for Saturday. We won't be in the parks late on Saturday even if we were staying at WDW because of how early we'd have to get up, so to make the drive that night is fine by me.

We will rent a car for 1 day on both ends and drop/pick-up at the Alamo Car Care Center (they have a shuttle to/from all the resorts :thumbsup2 ).

As it sits now, if Suz can get off, I think we'd go for Caribbean Beach for the 3 nights. We will probably have some resort time, so we'd want the Moderate over the Value.

I'd love to do the Dolphin for the one night (location is great and so is the hotel), but again, can't see going CB for 2, then Dolphin for 1, and then Hyatt for 1. The running around on Friday isn't bad since we were planning on hotel hopping to look at the decorations anyways that day. Just won't have time on Friday to enjoy the Dolphin and we'd have to check out Sat morning, so really can't enjoy the hotel on Sat either (don't want to come back to go swimming if I don't have a room to change in).

Wasn't Suz's boss just on vacation? She should have been in a good mood yesterday. Maybe she was depressed at being back at work.
$215.00 for a moderate :scared1: yikes
$159.00 sounds like a great rate for the Dolphin! I might have to check on that for the 19th. We have stayed at the Dolphin twice in the past because we were able to get a better rate there than at a moderate. It is a beautiful resort in a great location!

Hazel and I fly down to Florida three weeks from tomorrow. That (May 21st) will also be my 29 year anniversary working for the Water Department!!!

Well peeps, I'm finally going to get to read over my newspaper. The presses broke down overnight and my newspaper got delivered quite late. I've been so busy on here catching up that I forgot about the newspaper.

I'll probably be back on later, bye for now.............:wave2:

OK...this our Cabin

I wish!:)

Do I see a mirror on the ceiling? :scared1: :lmao: :scared1:

Hey Gang!

I know I haven't been on much for a couple days...things are pretty crazy around here. I'm a bit tired of work at the moment, so I thought I'd catch up.

Sunday we took DS bowling for the first time - it was pretty fun. We invited "Bampa & Grams" (aka Pete's folks) and had a lot of fun. If I remember, I'll post pics tonight.

Jeff's post about being glad he's taking the time now to take trips with his DS got me thinking about our cancelled trip to Phoenix/DL this Christmas...sigh. I still really want to go. DS would have a blast, but unless I can actually snag a rate like I saw a few minutes ago, I'm not sure it's possible. :sad2:

Ok, enough feeling sorry for myself...:rolleyes1

It's ok Jen. I had my own little "pity party" this morning myself. :sad1:

Heather, remind me...the ship you're sailing on is one of the "sister" ships of the Freedom of the Seas, correct? The biggest one?

We looked at RCCL before choosing DCL, but I'm sure glad we chose DCL last October....I got to meet a super bunch of people! :goodvibes

Who'd you meet Jen? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

A joke before bedtime.

A man goes into a bar and orders a drink. As he sups his pint a little voice pipes up "that's a nice tie your wearing today!"

He looks around but can see no one.

He takes another sip of his pint and the little voice says "That's a really nice suit your wearing!"

He looks around and again one one is near him.

The Barman comes over and asks the man if everything is OK. The man tells him about the voice and he replies:

"Oh that's the nuts...they're complimentary" :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Rick says he married Miss Right...but he didn't know that my first name was Always.:lmao: :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Keep em comin' Heather. :thumbsup2

Tony and Jesse just brought over the Wii MarioKart. Off to Wiiiiiiiiiiiii.......:lmao:

I reserved this and have to pick it up tomorrow. We still haven't taken the Wii out of the box yet.:confused3

Evening Becky.

Have you stayed at AS-Music at all?

I think the only Value resorts that have been renovated are Music and Sports. Not sure about Pop.

What's your thought of staying up near the airport on the last night?

Our flight out is at 8:00 a.m. We would be in the parks until late and then would drive (car in the lot already) to MCO, drop the car and then go to the airport.

The Hyatt is $170 (including tax).

Sheraton is $130 (inlcuding tax and has a 24-hour shuttle).
Fairfield is $120 (including tax, has shuttle, but not sure of the times).

Maybe this is too late but we have stay at AS-Music. We liked it fine. It is still very Disney and you wouldn't have to change hotels. We love pop century though. It is just more fun looking.

 Not today sweet lady, I had a Philly Cheesesteak Calzone

My word, it tasted sooooooooooooooo good.

I just knocked off a bowl of Chili for dinner. I try to only have beef maybe once a week if that, here I had beef twice in one day...........:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

"Sweet"? "Lady"? Are you sure you're talking about me?:goodvibes

Jeff did you Figure Out what you're doing in Dec. I haven't been on here the last few days. Did you and Suz come to any decisions yet?

Nice F.O. Cheryl. Very creative. :thumbsup2

I was thinking about all of you VA BOBers today hoping and praying you were OK after seeing the tornado pictures on the news this morning. Glad to hear that both Paige and Shelley are fine!!!! Hopefully Lori is OK too!!!!

Hope we hear from her soon. Lori?? Let us know you're ok.

Hi everyone. We are fine. Just busy trying to get ready to leave on Friday.

Wow, that was quick! Thanks kiddo. :lovestruc

Cass, I am following a program. I'll try to PM you soon. Can't promise it will be tonight though. I will post a new pic of me when we return from vacation. I want the "new me" pics at Disney!:thumbsup2 And by the time we cruise I hope to have an even "newer me"!

Yeah, I need to get with that program myself.

  Andy Get some good rest tonight and hopefully the pain meds will help your knees. The weather has to get better soon right! How soon is your trip to FL?
I hope tomorrow is a better day

Feel better Mr. W.
