Alrighty. Looks like Playa del Carmen is out. Apple Vacations has their flights out for that week.

For us to go to the cheapest hotel offered, for 4 nights, it would be $4,700 all-inclusive.

Crap, might as well look at a 4-night Wonder sailing. :scratchin

Yea Jeff--I think I would take a 4 day cruise over that as well............;)

O.K. 4-nights, Cruise only 12/31-1/4:

Cat 9: $3,529
Cat 10: $3,329
Cat 11: $3,269

3-nights, Cruise only 12/28-12/31:

Cat 8: $3,149
Cat 9: $3,049
Cat 10: $2,849
Cat 11: $2,749

Don't think I'd do that either. The Oct '09 cruise in the SPH is only costing me around $2,700. Why would I waste it on only 3 nights? :confused3

I'm dreading seeing this airfare from AirTran when it comes out, but they usually have 6 levels of discounted fares. If I get it on day one, I should be around $200 or less. If not, you won't be seeing me in December.

Sorry, we're starting to get to the point that I could do a longer vacation some other time of the year. :sad2:

I know, I see your point. Hazel and I are doing the BOB cruise for a little over $1900, and we have something like $350 in onboard credits!!!

Where did you get all the credits from? Did you get the $200 for me booking you onboard? That is too cool.

I know the $50 came from the Castaway Club bookings in December and the $100 from Dreams.

If you're at $1,900, we must be lower than $2,700. I can't see DS costing $800. I thought they were only about $300-$400 plus some taxes. Man that kid is costing me a fortune. :rotfl:

Is it just you and me this afternoon Andy?

Where is everyone? Do they all have lives? :rotfl:

It's my late night at work - only because DS has wrestling until 7:30. I'll leave here at 7:00. Maybe by 5:00 I'll start working for the day. :rotfl2:

Yes, I got the $200 onboard booking credit, as well as the 10% discount!!! :thumbsup2

The cruise total was $1941.16 for the SPH for Hazel and I.

We have a free evening as Angelina doesn't have musical practice tonight. I just renewed our membership at our community center this afternoon. I was going to see if Angelina wanted to go and work out and maybe take a swim, but after I got done eating dinner, I didn't feel like it anymore...........:rolleyes1

I read two meter books today, so I think that was enough exercising for me today...........:rotfl:

I'll have to check my final price again for that cruise then. We've got to be lower.

Just check DCL for booking it as a normal Joe, and right now a cat 10 for us is coming up at $2,764 without the 10% discount.

It is saying that the child is $654 with the taxes. Stateroom is coming up at $2,597 and taxes at only $167, but that seems low.

But if you take 10% off of almost $2,600, you get $260. So the bottom line would be around $2,504. That sounds more like what we'd spend.

So even more reason not to book a 3 or 4 nighter over Xmas or go to Mexico. Heck, I could almost do 2 cruises for the price of those 4 nights in Mexico.

I could never get myself to excerise in the evening if I was just starting out. I could only do the morning, right when I wake up.

But, after I was working out for a month or two, my body craved it and I was working out morning and evening. I didn't even want to eat dinner. I'd eat and then go right down to the treadmill for an hour and run.

This was back in 2004 after my back surgery. I lost 47 pounds in about 3-4 months. It has all come back now because I didn't maintain. I got thrown off my schedule when my audit was here at work and after 2-3 weeks of not doing it, it is hard to get back into to a routine.

I'm hoping, after taxes, I will be a little more religous with it and hopefully drop another 20-25 pounds before the repo. I'm down about 7.5 from my high and almost down to my pre-KK cruise weight.

That's one reason I like to try and cruise during the off season, seems like I get more BANG for my BUCK!!! :thumbsup2

There is nothing better than screams/giggles between friends :goodvibes I was talking to Lurking Lynn on the phone Sun. night and Al asked me to leave the room because he couldn't hear the TV :rolleyes1

tell her to make sure she paints her toenails pink again so we can recognize her.(she'll know what that means)

Wifey-poo is calling, she is still feeling under the weather, let me go and see what she needs............be back later.............:wave2:

Sorry, Andy, I had to do some actual work related things. I'm back for a little bit.

Hope Hazel fully recovers soon.

OK did you 2 have the onboard booking prices? Sean and I are paying 2109 for the 2 of us.

Which brings me to another question that maybe you 2 can help me with.
If the prices stay the same by the time August comes around, could I do an onboard reservation, get the discount, then have dreams switch cabins with that reservation?
