Congrats on the 19K. You also went over 200 posts on this thread today too.

So did you, you little stinker..............:lmao:

Hazel is dropping Angelina off at the high school, then coming back to pick me up, we don't have to be there until 7:30.

O.K. I'm out. DS has basketball at 6:00 and I have to man the scoreboard. Amazes me how his team's baskets count as 2 and the opponents count as 1. :rolleyes1

Sounds like a good dad to me!!! ;) ;) ;)

Hi Tanya...

I haven't talked to you for so long. How are you? :)

Hi Robin, I sent that post and was called away to do whatever.

Today is DD 13th birthday. She is at softball tryouts and we are getting ready for the grandparents to stop by for presents and dessert. She is hoping for money toward a laptop. I hope she gets it because I am tired of sharing my work computer.

I'm glad you're all better. :thumbsup2

Bye for now folks, see y'all later.............:wave2:

The daycare DS goes to now (which I love and was a godsend when he was 1-3 especially) does have a summer/before/after school program, but I am also looking at our YMCA. DS is so active, and it looks like they do a lot of sports, swimming, field trips, etc. I picked up a brochure for the Y program this year (just to see, he wouldn't go until next summer) and the cost isn't horrible. $90 per week plus field trips (which range from $6-$20 per week, only 1 week is $20).

All I know is come September, we'll be able to breathe a bit easier....

Only $90 a week? :scared1: We were paying $196 a week last year for summer camp.

We just toured a different camp for DS for this summer. He was at the Y the last two years. Check into that for your DS. It looks like most have a program.

We just wanted to try the Boys and Girls Club camp this year. Closer to home and they teach them stuff as opposed to just "babysitting" them. Their dates usually don't work out for us, but with the Repo in August and us flying in Suz' friend which is like a grandma to him for the first 2 weeks in June, we thought we'd give it a shot.

As for the cost of daycare, I don't care which side of the isle you vote on, they all say they are for the working family. Then why do they cap the daycare reimbursement under Sec 125 at $5,000 and cap the deduction on the 1040 at $6,000 if you have 2 or more kids? Sorry, at $5,000, that is only $96 a week for child care for one child. Like to know who is watching the kid for that kind of money. They haven't moved that amount in well over 10 years if not 20.

dont forget about rachel!!!
shes always here!!!

The year was 1973.

Mike was 16 and I was 18.

Hey fellow Bobalosers, since it it so nice here this morning, I didn't need to add on the extra warm "undergarments" in not having to do that, I was able to get down to the last notch on my belt. Looks like I might have to buy me a smaller size belt very soon............

Congrats to you!!!!! Isn't it so exciting?:cool1:
