They didn't have the scoreboard this week either. Doesn't matter, DS's team got killed. The other team's coaches actually coached those kids and they played like a team. Our coaches don't do crap. We'll get beat every week.

Sad thing is, is that this year's coaches are far better than last year's. Tells you how bad last year was.

The year was 1975 and yes, I was wearing Blue Suede platform shoes. I had the shoes first and matched the tux to the shoes...........

I was 20, Hazel was 21 when we got married.

Love it Andy! You can do anything but lay off my blue suede shoes.

It won't be long though. There are some parent's at Alex's games that act like they are playing for a college championship and she is only 11. Alex's coach is very laid back and wants to make sure the girls are having fun and learning about the game and doesn't run plays or anything so Alex's team has lost every game since the other coaches are much more set on winning. I'm not sure which is better because Alex and her team mates are getting discouraged. But she still loves the game.

Just lots of rain so far. The high winds should hit around midnight tonight. Shadow is a good barometer and knows when something is coming. He is asleep on the sofa beside me right now so I think we are ok.

We have had high winds around here already and heavy rain. I think it has slowed down a bit now.

i weighed 145 lbs. back then. those were the days.

I remember back, freshman year in college, only weighing 138 pounds with a 29" waist (and no I wasn't a stick).

They always talk about the freshman 20. Well I must have done few freshman years in the last 20 years.
