I still can't believe Midwest allowed you to use FF miles. They are so stingy that I would have thought they'd black that time out.

I am not doing any planning until AirTran releases their prices.

My concern with leaving the parks is being allowed back in. Don't they deny non-WDW people if the parks get too full?

When I got our tickets the planes were almost empty, I think there were 5 other seats taken when I chose ours. I think if we had tried getting them for Sat.-Sat. that might have been blacked out, the flights on those days were already about half full when the Sun. return became available.

There is a tier system as to how they don't let people in the parks as it reaches capacity. I have seen it on the DVC boards around Christmas time and I might even have that thread saved. There are times when no one is let in the parks but from what I have read that usually only happens at MK on Christmas Day and New Years Eve. If we go to MK at all on Christmas Day it will be right when they open and then we would hop to a less crowded park

I'd rather be going through the canal on DCL too. In fact I wish I was! I'll have to live it through all the pictures you KK/Bobers that are going through the canal take and post for us to see

Although I am so glad that Jeff, Heather, and Chris are going, I truly wish all the KKer's were going. Not sure if DCL could handle all of us for 15 days.

Cheryl,

Weather is on. Looks like some cold temps are moving in and possible lake effect snow tomorrow.

Warming up the middle of next week though.

Well ladies (that would mean you too Chris if you were on right now :rotfl: ), I'm going to call it a night.

I was up to 1:00 the last 3 nights doing taxes and then up at 5:45 each morning. I'm tired.

Talk y'all tomorrow.

I pick up my sister and family from the airport Sat. night from their trip to Orlando, I think I heard the low that night inland is supposed to be below 0 again. They are going to freeze but at least they had a week away from this cold weather.

72 here tomorrow:rolleyes1
we do get rain on Monday and Tuesday though

Becky Pretty Please send us some of that warm weather!

Now that would have been another awesome cruise! Oct. 09 will only be a little over a year after you guys get back though!

And one last parting thought for you to ponder tonight and tomorrow:

Easter Bunny - male or female? :confused3

Here is what I had saved as info on how they close the parks when they are getting to capacity:

There are four stages to park closing:

Stage 1 - The parking lot entrance is closed. You can only access the park if you are using Disney Transportation.

Stage 2 - The ticket windows are all closed (and the automated Ticket Vending Machines are turned off). Unless you already have a ticket you cannot get in.

Stage 3 - Only people with Annual Passes or current Resort IDs will be allowed in.

Stage 4 - Nobody is allowed in.

Sorry, didn't leave yet.

Cheryl, it will be 48 on Wednesday. For those of you not from WI, it will feel like 70.

Yes this past Sun. was nice I think the upper 40s and I actually went outside without a jacket and wasn't cold! Then the temps fell again :sad1:

Goodnight Jeff whenever you actually do leave

Goodnight Becky

I am going to get going to. Rach has off tomorrow and I work second shift and am on call so I thought we would sleep in only to find out she wants me to drop her off at school at 7:30am  She and some of tehother kids on student council are serving refreshments to the teachers during parent-teacher confrences.

How 'bout some fluff????? :woohoo:

We went to the zoo on Sunday, first time back since she was about 7 months. It was really great because she got to see a lot of the animals that she knows and says the sounds to. The elephants were particularily great because the trainers were in with them as we passed and they were very vocal and she got to hear the elephants make their sound :thumbsup2

This reaction was from seeing giraffes for the first time..

This was her watching some fish..

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY:goodvibes

Cass - lovely photos:cutie:

Karen,
You know that Universal has the Grinch during Christmas. Unless he scares the crud out of Ellis.

I heard about him being there. He didnt like the movie a couple of years ago but he's be fine now (I think)

Karen here's some more  :wizard: pixiedust: to help get you feeing better quickly!

We fly home the morning of the 28th. We'd love to see everyone before we leave too! Is everyone there on the 27th? Or maybe we could have 2 meets? Outside the parks would work for us.

We'll have to get a list together of when people arrive once everyone (Jeff) has booked;)

we'll be on property.
we may not have a car, but can hitch-hike out.
i'll simply show the scar and some hot chic will surely pick us up.:cool2:

Maybe somewhere in DTD would be an easy place for everyone? - maybe the irish bar:confused3

Yep I talked to Lynn on Sun. night, she and Chris are good. They are coming on KK2  I'm not sure if she is lurking here yet or not, she might be waiting until it gets closer. We are stopping to visit them for a few nights in June when we go to NYC and Boston :woohoo: so we were talking about our palns for then. Next time I email or talk to them I'll pass on the request for the pink toenails :confused3

:woohoo: Lynns coming too:woohoo: - say hi for me when you chat next
