Now, this is the kind of morning I like, I walk out my front door to pick up my newspaper and it is already 57*F outside!!! :goodvibes

Going up into the upper 60's today..............:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes LOVE IT!!!

Good morning/afternoon all!

Becky - and pixiedust: for Sean's grandmother..and for the two of you, also...

Thank you everyone for the well wishes about the basement...we've just gotta hang on another couple of weeks until the sump pump is installed - then I can wish for warm weather along with everyone else! It seems like we do ok until it rains....so I'm hoping for snow for 2 more weeks (I can't believe I said that!:scared1: )

I will not be on the DIS much during the day....my co-worker is out of town for work at a trade show, which means I am covering for her and there's a ton of work! I can sympathize with you Shelley, Becky, Jeff (well, maybe not Jeff :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ) ....

Just kidding Jeff - you know we think you're great! We don't want you to go to the Dark Side!

Hi Jen............

On my way out the door to take "the kid" to school!!!

Ok here is our prom pic
prom002.jpg

I had a 102 fever that night, and there was no way I wasn't going.

I don't see a picture there Becky. It says photobucket removed it.:confused3

I do have to say, the TV weather people here in Milwaukee have now blown the last 3 snow forecasts. The most recent was suppose to be 2"-4" Sunday into Monday. We got zero.

They missed 2 bigger ones in the last 7-10 days.

Just trying to hype it after the 20" snowfall.

 I'm glad they missed their mark again.

Great Pic.

Reminds me of last October watching her sail back to port for us to take her out again.

I didn't see you answer, where did you get the pic and where is she at there?

I got it from my shutterfly account from the 05 cruise with the Molar Express. I don't remember which DISer posted it, but it may have been Brenda. :cutie:

Ditto.

How was the shower Nancy?

I saw the "boys" at the game Saturday night. They were telling me how they all helped you get ready.

The shower turned out really nice. Which one of my boys said they helped? It better have been only Chuck because the other two couldn't even spell "help" in this situation.

Jen: Sorry to hear about the basement again. We had problems at our old house with water like that. We once even had 5 feet of raw sewage in it.:scared1: You can keep the snow in Janesville as long as it melts here in the Falls. :)

Becky: Lots of prayers for Seans grandma.

My poor Charlie Tuna got slapped with the flu yesterday. I never saw him so sick. I've locked him in the spare bedroom, made sure he has plenty of liquids and a clear shot to the bathroom. :guilty: He's taking his first sick day in 14 years! I, on the other hand, make sure that I take all 6 sick days I get every year whether I'm sick or not! (You lose 'em if you don't use 'em.) He gets paid at the end of each year if he doesn't take any. :yay:

You need to tell Neil not me:rolleyes: ........we actually were talking about it again yesterday - if I want to go then I have to put up with Neil working stupid hours and lots of weekends etc. He's already agreed to work Easter Monday - lots of ££££££££

The trouble is I have too many things I want doing in the house - house or WDW - hard choice:rolleyes:

I choose Disney. You would know that if you ever saw my shack (there's a thought, come visit us :thumbsup2 ).

Whatever. We're below normal, again. It's going to hit 40 maybe early next week, but that too will be below normal.

Our normal right now is suppose to be in the high 30's and next week the low 40's.

I hate winter. Give me summer. I'm enough inland from the lake (for those of you unfamiliar with Lake Michigan, it is huge and alters our weather. It is so big, you can not see accross it) that we will be 10-15 degrees warmer by my house than at the office. Bring on Summer.

Man, just call me the Rodney Dangerfield of this group.

I get no respect. :sad2:

"The Kid", that's what my dad would always call me, even though I was 1 of 4. Even after I moved out, I'd call them, talk to my dad first and then my mom. He'd yell, "Ma, it's the Kid on the phone."

:rolleyes1 I'm not talking. :rolleyes1

O.K., I've gotta run. I have a tax return I need to assemble before Suz leaves for work. Not sure if I'll have time to talk later.

Hey fellow Bobalosers, since it it so nice here this morning, I didn't need to add on the extra warm "undergarments" in not having to do that, I was able to get down to the last notch on my belt. Looks like I might have to buy me a smaller size belt very soon............
