OK girls, do any of you know who Rick Springfield is? Well when I was a teenager his posters covered my room,totally gaga over him and so wanted to be his Jessies Girl.
Anyhoo, my best friend went and saw him in Las Vegas on Friday. She just called me and while standing in the Starbuck's line at the airport, and all of a sudden she goes OMG there he is. Yes right there in the line, and the wench got to talk to him....I so hate her.

Sorry Becky...not one I remember. Now if it had been Donny Osmond.....oh well I can dream.

Yes, we did need to dry out when we got home Don't usually drink...but as it ws a special occasion. Dave and Bev won't be on the repo as James starts senior school on the day we reach Florida and they didn't want him to miss his first day. Perhaps I'll wear the read dress again in 2009, just for you with my tiara

I think Mike's getting spring fever. That's one ugly snowman honey. He does have nice eyes though.

I remember Rick Springfield! Went to his concert when I was twelve. My mom took me and three other girls and just dropped us off in front of the Civic Center. I wouldn't drop my DD and friends off in front of a Civic Center now!
Anyway, as you remember Rick Springfield also play Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital at that time (I didn't get ABC only NBC back then). At the concert there were several ladies of a certain age with I General Hospital t-shirts!
What a memory!

That movie Music and Lyrics reminded my a lot of Rick Springfield!

Arrived home a little bit ago. We wound up going to Nifty Fiftys for a change. This place just opened up within the past few months and we just heard about it in our local newspaper this past Wednesday, since it was Hazel's birthday, she said, "Let's give it a try." It was nice, the food, atmosphere and service was all quite good. We might even go back for my birthday next month. I have attached 3 pics below. Hazel received a special sundae for her birthday and Angelina asked if she could have a hat to decorate for herself. That's the inner kid coming out in her..........

As usual, I was the picture taker, not the picture takee.........so no pics of me...........
