Hi Jeff I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd get caught up here. It's a good thing I have off tomorrow :goodvibes

It's a late night for you isn't it?

Yeah, trying to get some statements done. I'm out tomorrow afternoon (having a crown put on) and then out a majority of Thursday morning (dentist again - this time a cleaning), so I'm doing my best to get this all done now.

I know I'm missing data from my districts though, so it won't be complete. :sad2:

2 days in a row at the dentist :scared1:

I have a routine eye doctor appointment tomorrow morning so I probably won't be able to see the computer for a few hours after that, I hate it when they dialate the pupils. I guess I'll be forced to do some cleaning around here tomorrow :sad2:

The cleaning on Thursday was a reschedule because the hygenist was sick on the regular day. That was the first opening.

I asked if they wanted me to come back to back and they said no problem.

It was Horizons by Marriott. We LOVED it. Scott and I were talking about going there next Feb. again. The location was perfect (1 mile from seaworld) and only about 15 minutes to be parked in the lots at disney. Cheryl owns there and told me it was great. It was. There was the pool with the pirate ship and another pool with a bigger slide and then a water park thing with spraying water everywhere and 2 big buckets that would dump water. There were like 3 or 4 hot tubs around the pools. They had putt putt onsite that we never got a chance to do. Look it up on trip advisor and look at the photos. I would recommend it to anyone.

Harrison loved to pool at our resort. He always was wanting to go to the pirate ship!

Lori I'm so gald you enjoyed Horizons!!! Seeing the pictures of the pool makes me want to be back there. I am trying to convince Al and Rachel that in order to "save money" and maximize our vacation dollars we should buy annual passes for our WDW trip in Dec. and then go back again next June and stay at Horizons again. We never had time to try out the mini golf there either but it looks like a nice course. Next time we're at Horizons I want to plan a few off days from the parks and relax and enjoy the resort!

It just seems like most people I know hate going to the dentist and to have to go 2 days in a row would put some over the edge :rotfl2:

Well after 30+ years at the dentist I grew up with everyone else seems like a walk in the park. The old dentist was just brutal.

Ok a pic from our room at the Grand CA, I loved it could have sat and people watched if I had the time.

Becky the picture from your room looks a lot like the view we had from our room when we stayed at the Grand CA. I loved having that balcony overlooking the park like that. I would sit out there for a little while before going to bed and then I'd be right out there again first thing in the morning watching them put all the rides through their "test runs" before the park opened. Well worth every DVC point I used for that room :thumbsup2

I don't really mind our dentist either, now the hiegenist he used to have was another story :scared1: I'd always come out of their with a sore mouth. After having had braces as an adult, gum surgery and a dental implant to replace a tooth that broke going to the regular dentist is a piece of cake

The hygenist we have is great. The dentist is good too.

My old dentist did the cleanings and he was rough.

I actually enjoyed when I had to go to someone else for a root canal. That was actually fascinating to me.

Looks like I have some catching up to do, but first an announcement..............

......We received our DVC closing papers this afternoon and our paperwork was faxed back and the needed funds were wired to the closing company. Now we just have to wait to hear that our closing has been finalized!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

:woohoo: :woohoo: That's very exciting news Andy :cool1:

Jeff did you already get to book your excursions for the repo or is that coming up soon? Did you decide to change your hotel to the Marriott in Garden Grove or are you sticking with the other one?

We book the excursions on the 19th, which is really 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night for us. I'm just going through that right now actually. I have to get a few print offs for Suz to look at. I think we have it down to no more than 2 in each port except Cabo. Still don't know what we're doing there.

As for the hotel, I will concentrate on that after the ressies on Sunday. We have decided to stay all 3 nights up in the DL area, but only go to DL on Friday. Therefore, since we will have the afternoon/evening on Thursday and all day on Saturday, we will be looking at a nicer property.

We've decided to hire a private van to take us to port with Chris and family. I found out more about the shuttle at the hotel we had in Long Beach. It didn't start until 9:00 or 10:00 and did the Carnival runs first. They wouldn't haed over to San Pedro until almost 11:30. All the other hotels in the area that had shuttles had late starts or you had to pay big $ to stay on their cruise package (the only way to get the shuttle).

There are about 8 hotels I have to research in Anaheim/Garden Grove, but right now the Marriott is tops on the list.

I'm trying to research hotel pricing for PV. We're there for so long that day, I thought about getting a room at one of the hotels.

For the price of the beach break Suz wants to do ($227), I think I can get an all-inclusive hotel for one day (night).

Just can't get Apple Vacations website to pull up the pricing right now.

Do you guys want Lynn to bring dental instruments and she can clean everyone's teeth, for a slight fee I'm sure. :rotfl:

Chris

I give up on it.

It's also late, so I'm going to call it a night. The alarm will be going off at 5:30. :scared1:

Talk to you tomorrow. Have fun at the eye doctor (is that possible? :confused3 ).

Hello Everybody!!! What a nice surprise to see Nancy crossing my street on Saturday morning. Could someone please explain how one hug from Nancy almost had me getting quotes for KK2? :confused3 (sorry I don't know what you are calling your cruise this time around!) :confused3

Cheers to all!!! :lovestruc

Perhaps a Father's Day gift for an unsuspecting husband??? ;)

I think that would be a wonderful father's day gift :thumbsup2

Victoria good to see you posting here, "stop by" more often

Hi Chris, bye Chris.

Can't believe I'm on when you are. It is getting late.

Pretty soon Karen will be logging on. It's only 6:30 their time right now though.

Good night Jeff. Good luck at the dentist. I actually think I'd rather go to the dentist than the eye doctor.
