Parking at the terminal is $12.00 a day I believe, unless it went up again.


I always rent from Budget, their office is within walking distance from the Radisson.


OK, I have to get out of here NOW!!!!!

We rent from Avis because of the speed in the rental office and frequency of shuttles.

If we can't get the shuttle to ourselves, I might just use the car in the morning to take Suz and DS to the port and then go to Avis and come back on their shuttle.

If we get the shuttle early, then I may rent from Budget and walk back if it is that close.

If my brothers were acting like that, I'd tell them they're not coming. If that didn't work, I'd tell my mom I wasn't inviting them. They'd stop after that.

Well said Jeff....sometimes it's hard to stand up for yourself to your family though.

That really is very sad that it's coming from Jesse's immediate family and didn't you just say the other day that they aren't helping out much with this wedding because of his sisters wedding.

I did the WDW half marathon a few years ago, I got a Garmin forerunner when I was training for that. It's a neat gadget and was very helpful to have I still use it all the time when I walk. I have started going for walks at lunch at work and I was just thinking I should keep my garmin in my purse so I could use it then too.

I am sitting here ready the manual. Woody has an older one. This one just came out so he has no idea how to set it up. Typical! He can dismantle a computer but can't tell me how to use a watch!

I've said it before but it's worth repeating. Jesse (and Stacy) are very lucky to me marrying into such a wonderful family.

Nancy, I'm so sorry this is happening to Kristin and Jesse...I don't know why people have to get so weird and crazy about weddings.

It is all about Kristin and Jesse, and the beginning of their life together. That's the really important thing, which I think too many people forget about these days.

You tell Kristin that her mom's fun and crazy cruise friends wish her a long and happy life with her sweetie, and we'll celebrate her first anniversary (a bit early) in grand style in the Caribbean!

A Champagne (or smoothie ) send off!! I love it!

Ok. Time for some goo news! AP rates came out today and I switched my room and saved about $300!!! Woody was even more excited. He said more money for Star Wars cr@p. Oh brother!

If you do the latter and don't feel like walking, ask the Budget shuttle driver to drop you off at the Radisson. They did this for Rob in 2005 and it was no problem!

Actually, if we get the shuttle to ourselves then Rob will be doing the same thing as you, dropping off the rental at Budget and hitching a ride back with Budget's shuttle

That would be cool if we could board the shuttle together!

last but not least was the girl i never talked to.
we called her BigRed. she was soooo beautiful. i never got the nerve to ask her out. i just admired her from afar.
she grew up to have amazing "personalities" and i hear she's doing well in the entertainment industry. i think Nancy still keeps in touch with her as those two were inseparable in school.

Oh yes, Nancy and i have remained close over the years.
Whenever i'm in town on "business" i call her up and she invites me over for lunch. I'll ask her "what are we having?", and she'll reply..........
"how about a Tuna sandwich?

Yes, they will do that. They offer free shuttles to and from the port. They open at 8am but beware that around that time it will be very busy with people getting off the cruise picking up cars.
