Yeah, more people getting in the swing of it...........:lmao:

Wow, we got some list going. Wonder if we could charter their shuttle for 8:45 or 9:00 to make sure we're the first ones there? :scratchin

The first shuttle leaves at 10:00am taking guests to the port. There was a group of about 33 people waiting for the shuttle this past November, they took up most of the big shuttle bus. The 5 of us got to ride over to the port area with them. They were a rowdy bunch, nothing like us cool, calm BOBers.........:rotfl2:

Andy how big is their shuttle bus? Did all 33 people and their luggage fit?

We'll have a rental car to return, we'll have to figure out if it's best to return the car (after our early morning meet to watch the Magic come in) and take the shuttle from the Radisson or use the rental car shuttle (last time we had Al & Chris drop us off at the terminal and Lynn, Rach nd I checked in while they returned the van) and this worked out nicely.

..... Guess you'll just have to eat at your mom's. :rotfl2:

:scared1: I'm not hungry all of a sudden:lmao:

I just called him - he's just got off the motorway so another few minutes and he'll be home. I told him I was taking HIM to dinner - he sounded pleased
(WAIT TIL HE REALIZES HE'S DRIVING AND PAYING):rotfl2:

Sadly, it's time for me to get back to work, but there is an upside, it's Pay Day again!!! :worship:

See, more of a reason to try and push our weight around. If we have a ton of rooms and that many people, maybe they'll allow us to have the bus an hour earlier. :thumbsup2

Maybe a "part of the deal" Cheryl gets for us.

It can't hurt to ask. I'll add that to my list.

There was a big trailer being pulled behind the shuttle bus where all the luggage was stored.

Hey! - Number Boy - how much is parking at the terminal do you know?:confused3

I may book the hotel if its more or less the same price.

It just depends if we hire a villa or not, but I fancy all being together the night before - that would ber fun:banana:

Come on Karen, join the party at the Port :woohoo:

Parking at the terminal is $12.00 a day I believe, unless it went up again.

I always rent from Budget, their office is within walking distance from the Radisson.

OK, I have to get out of here NOW!!!!! :wave2:

I’m sure everything will be ok one day. There are a lot of unwanted opinions, and hurtful remarks being made right now from some family members who have no right to make these comments in the first place. I just wish people would remember that it’s not about them, rather it’s all about Kristin and Jesse.

for you MG

yes i do. it was mrs. greene.

i remember quite a few of this gang. we had about 450 in my entire grad class
and a lot of these kids moved away long before that but...i remember...

we had one girl named Nancy. we gave her the nickname miss goose because she kept going around goosing all the guys. not sure why?
she spent a lot of time in the principals office..
i hear she got married to some guy in WI who is the aire to the starkist tuna
company.:confused3

two of those kids got married. i think there names were Walt and Di. i hear they moved to texas and bought a harley. now they just travel the country. and walt owns SW airlines.
:grouphug:

you know how every class has a kid everyone picks on. we had a kid like that named Jeff. he was always off in the corner with his protractor.
we used to call him numbers kid.:rolleyes1
guess he had the last laugh though as i hear he's a millionaire living in WI with a really nice wife.(like me, he married way out of his league)

i hear the girl named Cass invented the internet and married some DJ (rick D
or casey casem?)and are hiding out in the frozen tundra that is Canada.
they have a beautiful girl named kira.princess:

a couple of girls were always in trouble for flashing their bloomers to the boys.
i think their names were Karen and Paige.
i hear Karen moved to UK in search of a cheap water camera and Paige married that guy from Top Gun.

at lunch time i always sat with the little red haired girl named Lori. we didnt like our food touching so we sat off by ourselves all the time so kids wouldnt tease us. i hear she married a nuclear physicist or something.:rolleyes1

a real shy girl named Becky moved to mayberry and married a guy who's a deputy.(barney fife?) you gotta watch out for those shy girls.

there was another girl named Brenda who i hardly ever talked to. she was real nice but was always in the corner reading and writing. she used to sit there and mumble argle bargle or something. i hear she had a book on Times best sellers list.:woohoo: also, as kids one day, i was eating an ice cream cone and she offered to flash me in exchange for my ice cream.
(underdog aint dumb, i gave her the cone)

another one of those shy girls was Jen. I always wanted to get to know her a little better but there was this boy Pete she was dating and he wouldnt let us near her.:scared: I hear they live in WI also and she's been busy planting money tree's.

one of the classy girls of the class was named heather.:lovestruc she didnt graduate with us because after a few years they discovered she was a long lost princess and aire to the throne and they wisked her off to England.

we had a mystery kid named Chris also. no one knew anything about him and he seemed to never work but somehow has billions of dollars. He's a world traveler now and the ladys really seem to "dig" him. he truly is an
International Man of Mystery.:cool2:

one kid named Andy they could never get to sit in his desk. he always wanted to do his schoolwork out on the porch at the side of the school.
we used to call him porch boy, but now i hear he spends his time taking cruises and still sits outside, only now on his Verandah.:dance3:

i hear the girl named janice married the subway guy "mark". he's lost a lot of weight and looks great.:thumbsup2 i guess he's Magnum PI of something as he works in law inforcement.

Cheryl married her childhood sweetheart Al and they rode that WI money tree all the way to the bank.:woohoo: they have a sweet daughter named Rachel who likes to switch magnets off peoples cabin doors aboard disney cruises.

and our class scientists name was Steve. i think he was one of the designers
of the space shuttle. he blew up our class in 3rd grade. mixed too many chemicals.:rolleyes1

last but not least was the girl i never talked to.:scared:
we called her BigRed. she was soooo beautiful. i never got the nerve to ask her out. i just admired her from afar.:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :cool2: :cool2:
she grew up to have amazing "personalities" and i hear she's doing well in the entertainment industry. i think Nancy still keeps in touch with her as those two were inseparable in school.:grouphug:

:rotfl2:
Very clever Mike :thumbsup2

Hi Robin sweety!! :hug:Life has been hectic to say the least. We have Mothers day, my 30th Birthday :headache:,my brothers wedding:headache: :headache: (long story) , and my mom's 50th surprise birthday party for 120 people.:sad2: Just shoot me now!!! That is why we are leaving June 4th for vacation. :woohoo:
I also started training for the Richmond Marathon that is in November. I just got back from a 4 mile run with Woody. He is so nice to run with me. :lovestruc He got me a Garmin forerunner (personal GPS running thingie) for my birthday.

I did the WDW half marathon a few years ago, I got a Garmin forerunner when I was training for that. It's a neat gadget and was very helpful to have :thumbsup2 I still use it all the time when I walk. I have started going for walks at lunch at work and I was just thinking I should keep my garmin in my purse so I could use it then too.

I have to admit, I've been hanging out on the creative DISigns boards also...looking for clipart and ideas for door signs/t-shirts.

Look what someone made and personalized for me:

Thomas is going to flip when I make this into a t-shirt....

That's really cool Jen :thumbsup2

Question:

We land in LAX at 11:00 a.m. on the Thursday before the Repo. The best cost option for getting to the hotel near DL is a shuttle van. According to their site, it will get us to the hotel at 1:05 p.m.

Cal Adv is open until 9:00 p.m. and Disneyland is open until Midnight. Would you go to the parks that day?

I figure by the time we get checked in, bags to the room and on the shuttle to the parks, we'd get there no later than 2:30.

We plan on using our WDW park hopper passes to convert to a DL/CA park hopper. By doing this, we'd use 2 days of passes since we'd be going again on Friday all day. (one-day single park tickets will cost us $66/$56, one-day hopper would be $91/$81, and 2 day hoppers $132/$112 - each listed Adult/Child. Our cost per day on our WDW 10-day hoppers with plus features is less than $40 per day - not including the plus feature days.)

Is this a good use of our tickets or would you spend the extra $ and buy just DL/CA tickets?

Also, a rental car would be $21 more than the shuttle. Would you spend the money in hopes of shaving off some time gettng to the hotel?

I'd be to the point of just not inviting them if they were acting that way. And if they ask why, I'd say "because you've done everything possible before hand to ruin my day, why would I want you there - who knows what you'd do or say".

Too bad it's Jesse's immediate family. :sad2:

Nancy, I'm so sorry this is happening to Kristin and Jesse...I don't know why people have to get so weird and crazy about weddings.

It is all about Kristin and Jesse, and the beginning of their life together. That's the really important thing, which I think too many people forget about these days.

You tell Kristin that her mom's fun and crazy cruise friends wish her a long and happy life with her sweetie, and we'll celebrate her first anniversary (a bit early) in grand style in the Caribbean!
