We were so lucky when we were married. Rob's parents paid for half of our wedding. My parents were so grateful for that.

Yeah, that didn't happen on the first wedding, nor will it happen with this one.


Jesse's folks are paying an unbelievable amount of money for his sister's wedding later this month, so that bank has run out for K&J. We're on our own on this one.

It is south of the Stadium on Miller Park Way. It will be on the right-hand side in front of the new Menards. It is called the Cheesy Grill.

We drove down from our office, which is in Glendale, and it wasn't too bad. If traffic is heavy though, it may take a little longer. How long do they get for lunch?

Also, I wouldn't go on a day that the Brewers are have a home day game. Not sure where they are tomorrow.

Tuna boy just got out of bed so we're off for a little breakfast, grocery shopping, a Sam's run and then back home to R E L A X (I hope). Well, at least until the kids get home from the resort.

Hi all,
A few weeks ago I posted about Sean's grandmother being sick. We thought we would lose her then, but she took a turn for the better and surprised us all. Well about a week ago Sean got a call saying that her kidneys were failing again and she was refusing dialysis. Tonight he got the call that they expect her to pass within the next 24-48 hours. They are giving her morphine every 2 hours to keep the pain at a minimum. I think she is ready to go and be at peace. Please keep her and Sean's family in your prayers.

We'll keep Sean's grandmother and family in our thoughts and prayers

I'm late to the party but how in the he!! does the bride's family not pony up for the wedding???

Traditional etiquette demands that the brides's family pay for almost everything with the exception of the rehearsal dinner and honeymoon. Unless the bride and groom pay themselves.

My parent's wrote us a check when we got engaged and said, "that's what you get ... you want to spend more then it's coming out of your pocket."

Fair enough ... Jay and I matched their dollar amount and we were fine.

I know, each situation is different, but I can't beleive her parents didn't do anything. They're alive, right? They're healthy, right? They're financially viable, right?

Blows my mind.
