Lots of birthdays...

:cheer2: :cheer2: Happy Birthday everyone

Happy International Mothers Day for tomorrow. well, that's what they're calling it over here!

Had a lovely day today.

I had a birthday lunch at my flower arranging club today. Our club is celebrating 44 years.

My friends and I provided the afternoons entertainment.... pics when I can get them uploaded. We also sold the raffle tickets and al dressed as pirates....arrrrr.pirate:

Why are doing that? Having another one Nancy? :confused3

As much as I love mine, to start over would send me jumping over a bridge somewhere. I'll take a few grandkids though. :lovestruc

Good for her. Maybe that will shut the sister up some.

As for the dinner, I would have them put their choices in (several) and then have Kristin choose from that list. This way, she is still somewhat in control of HER wedding.

Actually, his folks picked the same thing we picked and the same thing the kids picked anyway. This way, his parents think they have some say so.:lmao:

We say this when people ask why we always take DS with us on all of our vacations. Hello, we work full time and he's in school. When else will we have 5-8 days (sometimes more) of just the 3 of us? It is great not having to worry about wok and just have fun with him.

I will never regret any time or money I spend going on vacation with him. Those days will be gone soon enough.

You're not kidding Jeff! :sad1:

My kids are 19 & 22. As long as the want to vacation with us they will. We were supposed to do Alaska this summer for our 25th. But for 4 it was a little expensive. So we will do it maybe for our 30th. ALaska isn't going anywhere. I like my kids, I know they have to move out someday, but I am ok with them staying until they are ready.

Joanne, we feel the same way. Every year we keep saying, "as long as the kids still want to come along, they can...It'll end soon enough". But it never does.....:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

8:25 cutting the grass on a Saturday, what happen to being courteous and waiting until 9:00 on the weekend?

our neighbor cranks his up at 6:00 am!!:scared1:

yep. cassie will take most of the photos.:thumbsup2
however some of the kk girls have requested going topless(and you know who you are) and cassie doesnt want to take those pics.(any volunteers?)
:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :cool2: pirate:

I know I didn't volunteer for that photo op. :scared1: :scared: :scared1:

Good morning everybody

Today is my Rachel's birthday princess:

:bday: party:HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL! party:

:cheer2: Happy B-Day Rachel!!::cheer2:

Hazel and I also signed closing papers last evening on a mortgage refi so we could combine our 1st and 2nd mortgage and saved quite a few $$ each month with a lower interest rate!!! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2

Who's B-day is on the 12th? :confused3 That was my Mom's B-day too.

Shelley's birthday is on the 12th.

Oooops, I had it written down as today. I'll just wish her another one for Monday then. :goodvibes

Hazel and I have a hot date tonight. We are going to our local comminuty theatre http://www.thebroadwaytheatre.org/?go=2008_3 to see "Forever Plaid" a musical about:

One of the most successful musicals in recent history. Set in the 1950s, this hilarious and charming story focuses on The Plaids - four young, male singers killed in a car crash on the way to their first big show. Sing along and tap your toes as The Plaids are miraculously revived for the chance to perform the concert that never was. Some of the great pop hits of the '50s include Catch a Falling Star, Three Coins in the Fountain, Love is a Many-Splendored Thing and Magic Moments.

Sounds like fun Andy. ENJOY :yay:

We don't have much planned because I'm on back-up call during the day for work and full call at night so I'm sure I'll be at the hospital in the evening, so I think when we take Rach out to dinner for her birthday today it will be a combined birthday/mother's day dinner.

Cheesecake Factory??:)

just keep digging that hole jeff.
nancy... you got a shovel you could loan to suz?

I'm sure Suz has her own shovel. I believe someone gave her one as a wedding present. :rotfl2: (JK, Jeff).

Good for Kristin!!!

What on Earth are you doing up at 4:30???? I have to be dragged out of bed when I hear Kira around 8AM!!!

This girl just can't sleep. I think sleep bores me. :scared1:

How about a kind word for us mediocre mothers?:rotfl:

Do you know one Paige? It certainly isn't you, my dear. :lovestruc

I'm sitting here listening to Stacy & Tony's wedding CD. Just heard the song "I Loved Her First" by Heartland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myO2e5Td3bg. It's the first time I ever heard the song, well the tears started flowing down my cheeks.

I am going to be a total wreck the day I have to give Lina away......:sad1: :scared:

Stacy and her dad danced to that one during the Father/Daughter dance.

For all of the KK1's out there, I saw Victoria (Wine Diva) today. :lovestruc We went to our favorite place to get our veggies for the garden and some flowers and decided to see if she was working at the wine shop.

She's just as cute as ever and we had a nice little visit. I bought two bottles of Hungarian Wine for my dad too. :yay:

She will try to get over here to say hi to everyone soon.

Lina just called from the mall, (she didn't know I had planned to take Hazel out to dinner before the show tonight) and asked if she could treat Hazel to an early :flower3: Mother's Day dinner. I told her to go ahead and I would find something here at the house to eat. So much for my surprise dinner before the show.........now to see what leftovers we have in the frig..........

Oh yes, leftover sketties from last night, yum! yum!
