Have a nice day, everyone. I'm off to take Alex to school. I do not have a job to drive to but I still have to fill up my gas tank once a week because I have to taxi my kids around so much. That is crazy!

We're vegetarians, so no fancy expensive meats on our bill!

Of course, I can't wait to read this one (DH is a Star Trek fan as well) and it's Monday - the busiest day of the week for me at work!!!!!

Nancy - it's funny you mentioned your bar tab for dinner....my BIL was explaining that bars usually have about a 75% markup on alcohol 'cuz that's where they make their money....(Numbers Boy can play with that little gem of info...)

hang in there Andy- these teen age years are not fun.

My oldest and his friends have decided since college is over and they don't have real jobs yet- they are going to Europe next month..... I wonder if they found the money tree? I told him if he could swing it go for it, because once the real world shows up he will never have this much time off again.

Happy Monday Everybody!! Boy I am exausted. You know it's bad when you have to come to work to rest!!
Busy weekend. We were at the Nascar race all day Saturday and I had a 3 mile run and kickball practice yesterday. A friend of mine talked me into joining the Richmond Marathon training team.I have to be up to 5 miles by May 31. What as I thinking ever agreeing to this. Oh yeah, now I remember. We were downing margaritas and I was lamenting the fact that I will be 30 in a few days. She piped up and said "Why not join the running team with me! It can be your big milestone this year for turning 30!" Note to self-Make no life altering decisions whilst drinking Tequila!

Hi everyone....looks like a quiet day so far on our thread....

My mom's coming home from Arizona! She's a "snowbird", during the summer she lives here, and heads down to Mesa in the fall. She'll be home tomorrow (which means I'll be cleaning like a mad woman tonight). Just thought I'd share....

they'll have to move to WI to find the money tree.
i saw on the farm report the other day where its going to be a bumper crop this year for WI money trees.
lots of expensive weddings, repo cruises, niagara falls trips, basement waterproofing, disneyland trips. seems like we should all move to WI.
