I think I would have liked it better with my kids, but we would have needed our own things to do: games, etc. for the ship days. Of course, in the summer, the weather would be nicer for the pools. The kids and I would enjoy that. It was so cool on this trip and on some days windy that the pools and sunning weren't an option for me.
I didn't go into the kids' clubs. We did see the kids in transport sometimes and, probably due to low numbers, the age spread was pretty big: around 3 to 9??? With more kids, more counselors, more age groups. The kids always did seem happy and into whatever activity.
Again, Bermuda was wonderful and plenty of quiet beaches. Many people recommended Horshoe Bay so we went there and it was gorgeous. In the summer, I would be it would be busier so I would try a quieter beach: some people from our table went to Jopson (sp?) and had the beach pretty much to themselves! However, there are several choices.
Very glad we did it but it just didn't really compare to
DCL is several ways.
