I was more so referring to the "snow birds".

They are all gone for now..... It's so hard to get around when they are all driving in the left lane loking for a estaurant.

Yes, she's right on the ocean. Her balcony faces it. BEAUTIFUL!! We'd only be there to sleep though. Our true destination is WDW. :thumbsup2

Isn't that an hour or more each way to travel to the World? :confused3

Would the savings per night be worth the extra gas to get to and from not to mention the time it takes?

Just as bad here, and yes, it is the middle of May, so they should be back up here now. Gotta make sure you get that 183 (or 184 in leap year) days down there. :thumbsup2

Creamy PM with Grape Jam, here is the exciting part, it was on toast!!! :lmao:

Ooohhhhh, I like Peanut Butter toast and Jelly Toast. Never had them together though.

I actually like Creamy on toast more than Chunky. Creamy melts into all the holes and just has a better flavor/texture.

Just saw the weather forecast for Friday, rain, windy and cool temps around 60* not what we wanted to hear with the prom being this Friday........
That's stinky.

I cannot believe the weather we've been having lately. It is really really bad!

4 people for $50.00 a night? Absolutely worth it to me. Otherwise we'd be spending up to $150.00 a night ( or more ) on the grounds. Hopefully, it doesn't cost $100.00 a day to drive to WDW from Daytona Beach and back.

Not if you stayed in a moderate and used Magical Express.

You have rental car and gas. And like I said, do you want to spend almost 90 minutes (76 miles) each way getting to and from? After a long day in the park, the last thing I'd want to do is drive that long. It is like going from here to Green Bay. The gas, even if you got 38 miles to the gallon would be 4 gallons a day, so $15 more. Car Rental for a Compact that weekend is $36/day from Alamo, plus all the taxes and fees, so figure $45. That is now $60 per day extra.

Also, you have the added cost of parking too. What is that per day now? Just looked. It is $11/day, now you're up to $71 per day to drive down.

Add that to your $50 and you're at $121.

Starts adding up as you go.

Like this one??

I spy with my little eye.....

I wish. Walt and I had a fantastic time. ate everywhere. kona cafe for tonga toast. ate at wilderness lodge twice at their special cafe. breakfast and dinner. ate at Victoria and Alberts. nice but way overpriced. Tusker house for character breakfast. Brown Derby for dinner. Went to all four parks. had a blast. Went swimming twice at the hotel. The lodge was beautiful and comfy but still we did not spend enough time to make up the difference in money between all stars and there. Walt and I had a great anniversary. We ate at Victoria and Alberts. rode all modes of transportation. The boat from the lodge is very handy. Quick and convenient. Almost did everything at every park. Walts brothers granddaughter was in High School Musical at Hollywood Studios. We had a great time watching her dance. She had a great part. I went on Tower of Terrors. It was fun. saw alot of the shows. really we had a great time and wonderful anniversary weekend. Walt sure does know how to have a well planned and fun time. Wished we got to meet up with Lori and family but never did. I looked around for them everywhere we went. Lori you look great. Keep up the hard work. Diane

welcome back walt and di:grouphug:

Nevermind. No WDW for us this year. I just got done scheduling some long over-due medical procedures for that week. I'm getting them all done and over with then.

I made three appointments in the last few minutes. :scared1: I know, I know...I'm nuts!

I edited to add more info/cost. It is getting up there.

That is the problem I have with Suz, she can't ever look at just going on vacation on a shoe-string budget. She starts adding things in, wants a different hotel. Soon, the $750-$1,000 vacation is $1,500 or more.

This is my first try at pics!

Just checked, AAA has $107.10 for AS-Sports that weekend.

Mods are coming up at $170.10.
