Wow, this thread has been real slow lately  At least it's not hard to catch up to

I decided to make a couple more 2-tier cakes for my website today. If I had more room to store them I would make more. I still want to do a At the Zoo cake and an On the Farm cake but I have 6 cakes sitting here now so until I sell them, I think that's it for the cake making :upsidedow

Wanne see 'em?

Those cakes are awesome. Once the word gets out, you won't keep up with the orders.

Cheryl,

Suz just yelled up to me coincidently (sp?) and asked if I knew what Wii was coming out with on May 21st (which she added - "my b-day").

Anyhow, she said that Wii is coming out with something called Wii Fit that is suppose to help you exercise. She says she wants it.

Haven't had time to look into it, but wanted to throw that out to you. I'm going to try and see if I can find something on it.

Jeff video is awesome, I had seen ads for it but didn't know too much. Takes for the video, I think I need one.

Karen - sorry for the snow, I have had my fill and still have some places in the yard that I still see it. Hoping for another nice day today to melt more.

Cheryl - what's the play that Rachel is in?

Cass those are awesome! I am making 2 of them next weekend, nothing as elaborate as your's though. I think your prices are right on the mark, those puppies are expensive to make. Holy crud the costs of the diapers alone, I was in sticker shock when I bought them yesterday!:scared1:

Yup, diapers are expensive  I try to buy them on sale and with a coupon :thumbsup2

Cass, those cakes are incredible! If I were having a baby I'd want someone to buy all of them for me (I'm greedy that way). :thumbsup2

LOL, I wish I could find some potential clients with your thinking

Awesome cakes, Cass! Once the word gets out, you will have a hard time keeping up with all the orders!:thumbsup2

I sure hope so Paige :goodvibes

That looked like our yard yesterday! Love the snowman, Jeff I remember you being a little taller :rolleyes1

Cass - I do manage to get at least one visit in when we're in US. I am going to try and get to Mouse Memories in Sept to pick up a few items and save the postage.

I didn't even know they had an actual store, thought it was a warehouse. They have tons of stuff :thumbsup2

They are real cute Cass. Do you have to leave them finished once you've taken your pictures, or could you not just make one and decorate it differently each time for the photos?

If I really wanted to I could disassemble them but it wouldn't go back very well and the longest part of making them is decorating so that would be a lot of time wasted :guilty:

Hi guys. We spent the WHOLE day yesterday shopping for a new dryer. We ended up buying not only a new dryer but also a new washing machine (as Al reminded me, Rachel and I have been complaining about our washing machine for awhile now). They will be delivered on Tues. Today will be a cleaning day for us. We need to clean out the laundry room and we need to get rid of any clutter from the rest of the house by Tues. because we are dog sitting a friends dog starting on Tues. too. 2 labs :dog2: :dog: chasing each other around through here means there is no room for clutter ;) I hope today is as nice here as it was yesterday so I can open some windows and let in some fresh air :sunny:

You are too sweet!! Can we drop our two dogs off in October when we go to Vegas???

Cass your cakes are beautiful!!! My niece made a diaper cake for another niece for her baby shower and it was a big hit. I just hope that when the niece that made the cake is going to have a baby we will be able to figure out how to make one for her.

There are many ways to make them, do a google search and you will find tons of tips :goodvibes

:cool1: Way to go Becky!!!

Yes, way to go Becky, sorry guess I missed your original post. I just keep going down then back up. I think it was Lori last year on the KK1 Yahoo site, who so wittingly put it "I suck" :lmao:

The Disney Cruise line is on the Travel Channel right now!!! I am sitting here having some major Disneyitis!!! I'm even tearing up!

HEY SHEL! Are you TRYING to rub it in a little more?? :guilty:

:rotfl2: :lmao: kidding ;)

Good thing none of you live closer to me, I would be popping by all the time to watch your travel channel

Busy. Working on our house. Painting, planting, etc.

We just bought a new mattress yesterday, so now Suz is talking about finally rearranging the room and painting. Why do I have the feeling I have a lot of work coming my way. :sad2:

Cass,

You guys really need to get someone in the US for you to list as your address. Then you could take the box and satellite dish back home, and get the channels.

The satellite company won't know you're not here. Just have it as direct bill to your credit card and you'll be home free. :thumbsup2

If she really keeps up and wants to try an aerobic workout go to Walmart or Target and get a basic workout video. Denise Austin is great and her videos are easy to follow and come in a variety of fitness levels. This way you are only out about $10 instead of the $80 for the other workout programs!

O.K., there is actually a You Tube trailer for the Wii Fit:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oNVIcMnZh4

I so have got to have it!!!! My 30th birthday is in May and I'm going to ask Woody to get it for me for my birthday!

Thanks for posting that about the Wii Fit!!!! The You Tube trailer looks great. I think I need one! I showed this to Rach and I also told her that Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii would be another good workout but as stubborn as she is she is asking if any of these guarantee a 10 pound weight loss in one week like Slim in 6 does. I told her that is not typical results and she said then you get your money back :headache: I told her you still have to pay for the shipping, to buy it and to return it then :headache:

Suz was talking about the Dance Dance Revolution. May have to look into that since it looks like Fit may be $150. :scared1: (at least that is what I saw when I did a google search on the product)

Most diet/instant weight loss gimicks have you eating virtually nothing and working out constantly. Have her do that with out spending the money and I bet she drops the 6 pounds.

Plus, weight loss should never be looked at as a quick solution type thing. It takes time to get it done right. If you can lose it in a week, you can just as easily gain it back in a week.

Cheryl - what's the play that Rachel is in?

She's in Seusical The Musical. She is a jungle citizen. It is in 2 weeks so they are now having practice until 5 everyday after school except last week they had Fri. off. I can't wait to see it it sounds like it will be very good!

We have Guitar Hero for PS2, it's fun, but I'm not good at it. The kids are though.
Any games you have for Wii that are a must have? Looking for something new.

I'll post more often again from now on... Ellis goes back to school Tuesday morning:woohoo: - I know its awful to say but geez:rolleyes: - that kids been real hard work these last 2 weeks.:sad2:

We almost got kicked out of the theatre the other day and yesterday in the garden centre was just a nightmare.... he's acting like a moody teenager -..but he's only 7:sad:

He's as sweet as pie when he gets what he wants......then turns into the devil child when it doesnt go his way or its time to stop something fun:worried:

Just like this morning - you could see how happy he was in the snow.... 20 mins after these were taken we asked him to come in to warm up...... major tantrum:scared1: .... at least Neil was here this time to see what I have to deal with:rolleyes:
