should underdog be worried??
now we already have plenty of life insurance on ourselves, but robin informed me that her company offered them an additional $10,000 on their spouses for a 48 cents a month. (and the rate wont go up) so my sweet tart says "i jumped on that" "all the girls in the office did too"
maybe its me but she seems to be looking at me a little differently now.
:scared: :scared:

Andy, can you or Hazel (whoever is cooking at your house) come for a visit? You always have such yummy-sounding stuff on the menu :cloud9:

Happy Birthday Cass!

Another thing we have in common: 27! Our family uses that number. My BD 8/27, DH BD 7/27, Wed Ann 10/27, etc.! Good number!

We have been glued to the TV watching our local news. One of Hazel's friends (Maryann) is stuck on the eastbound side of the Walt Whitman Bridge from Philly to NJ. A car with a man inside is holding a woman and child hostage in the car and the bridge was closed down in both directions since 4:30 this afternoon. Hazel's friend called her a little after 5pm to let Hazel know she was stuck on the bridge with her 7 year old daughter. They were on their way home after spending the afternoon at Children's Hospital in Philly.

Hazel was visiting with Maryann this morning before Maryann and her daughter headed over to Philly.

Now that our local news went off, I'm trying to keep with updates on the news channel website.

I just saw a few seconds ago live on the Fox Philly website that the police rescued the child and woman and now have the man in custody and everyone is safe and sound, thanks goodness for a peaceful ending to this 3 hour ordeal.

Maryann called Hazel at 8:45 last night to let Hazel know that she ans her daughter had just gotten back home. Maryann said she sat on the bridge, in her car, for four hours before the bridge was finally opened.

"Good Morning and T.G.I.F."

On the way home......we left at 5.30pm......... got home at ............

9pm:sad2: ......yep, couldnt find the motorway back home. I ended up phoning Neil who was driving - he pulled over and directed us using his road atlas. I wont be going there again.

The day was wuite fun inbetween though:rotfl:

Off to the shops this morning - Ellis wants an MP3 player like his friends:rolleyes: - he's spending his own pocket money so :confused3

He'll have to wait for Neil to set it up though - me v technology:scared:

The thread was very slow yesterday:confused3

Anyone would think some of you had a big trip soon to plan for;)

Anyone would think the rest of you had real lives to lead:goodvibes

Come on folks - an improvement on yesterday wont be hard now will it?:confused3

I'd like an improvement or I'll be handing out lines to the worst culprits -

Write 10 times "I must post more on our thread" (and no copy and pasting either:goodvibes )
