We love having those two here! I took the oldest out shopping this afternoon. The youngest came over later. She is happier this time than ever before. I don't think either one have been truly homesick yet!:thumbsup2

I know they aren't. They won't even take time to talk on the phone. Just a quick hi and bye!!! But that makes me vary happy.:goodvibes

Fav villian: Scar. I love the Lion King!! (No comment needed Mike!!):lmao:

Mornin' All.........

This is becoming habit forming, three nights in a row dreaming of work. I must be feeling guilty about my attitude towards work I guess..............:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Mr. Jeff---are you still busy doing income tax returns??? :confused3

Extremely.

I actually took a vacation day today to work on them (no interruptions from the wife or kid ;) ). But now I still have some work-work to get done, so that will cut into that time and I have to run out to get some checks signed, so there goes about 2 hours as well. :sad2:

I cranked out 3 last night late (one was a bad one - but that just means more money for me  ).

I hope to have all the current ones that are in house gone by the end of the weekend. I still have at least 2 of the longer ones not in yet (these two guys take forever to get their info to me). There is one more longer one I have to call to see if they want theirs done (I usually don't solicit any business but this one I know can't do it on their own and they take a while to pull stuff together - i.e. they need a kick in the pants).

I plan on taking one more day off in about two weeks to finish the rest of them up. I want to be completely done by the Friday before the 15th (4/11).

I still haven't done mine and I'm getting a refund. :sad2:

Sounds like you need tons and tons of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: to get you through the next couple of weeks!!!

This was my last year of doing tax returns, except ours of course. I decided I had had enough. Of course I wasn't being paid $$ for doing them, so it's not like I'm losing out on anything, other than a few extra pounds to carry around on this old body of mine.........:rotfl:

Nasty, rainy, chilly, raw day here, but duty calls so off to work I return.

See ya later gang.......:wave2:

Good morning/afternoon all....

Stay warm, Andy!

Karen - have fun! We'll want a report later...

Jeff - sounds like you're working too hard!

Cass - thanks for the logo! It's perfect. Now, I just need to make sure I get tickets to MNSSHP and figure out where we're going to stay the night after the cruise - last time we flew back the same night.

My fave villain - has to be Captain Hook, with Scar and the hyenas a close second...

Have a good day everyone!

I had a teaching middle school moment today! We just got our new computer lab hooked up, and I plan to take the kids in to type an essay tomorrow. I was telling the kids that all the computers are not hooked up to the printer/network yet, so I will take a jumpdrive to save their work to move over to print.

One of the kids asked if he could just use a floppy disk. In a hurry at the end of the class, I said, "No, I don't like floppy disks (sounding like dix); they can carry viruses." No kidding. I corrected myself immediately but the damage was done! I'm just glad it is late in the year, and they can't giggle about it for months--just a few weeks!
