Nope, don't take my "lappy" with me when I'm reading the meters, I just spend way to much time on the "lappy" when I'm home, or so I'm told....... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Good Morning Folks......it was so nice to be able to sleep in this morning, didn't get out of bed until 7:30.........

A friend of mine sent me these pics and I thought I'd share them here with my fellow DISfriends.

These are the Thunderbirds flying over the MK and EPCOT.

Wow..Rick asked me to ask you what was this for.

Wow..Rick asked me to ask you what was this for.

This is the note I got from my friend: The Thunderbirds flew over WDW on there way to Sun n Fun in Lakeland, FL. I didn't
hear about it til after but someone forwarded these pictures.

I also just read a thread, a few moments ago, from a DIS dad and his son who just got back from a week at WDW, and they saw the Thunderbirds fly overhead the other day.

Well I am off to read my book. I really love this one ::yes:: Normally I don't buy a new book in hard cover, I wait until paperback but Rob bought me this one for my birthday and I am so glad he did! I finished my last one a few days ago and picked this one up and it's been so hard to put it down.

It's called The Darkest Evening of the Year and it has tons of golden retrievers featured in it, I love dog books  You can tell that the author has a true love for dogs, he always has. His doggie Trixie died last year and this was the last book he wrote before she died. :sad1:

Have a great day everyone! :thumbsup2

Cass, let me know how you like the book after you're done.
Bob is looking for a new book to read, he's finishing up Marley and Me and loves it, and he's not much of a reader, so I'm having a hard time trying to find a good book for him to get interested in and we have a gift certificate to use up.

Who else has done the tours with Disney?

and which ones did you do?

Karen - we've done the Christmas Decorations tour and loved it. We even got a Christmas Ornament each at the end.

Yay.....my new passporter arrived yesterday. Now I've just got to find some time to read it.:rotfl:

Heard on the D.S. that we will have to wait till mid July for confirmation of our cabin for the Repo. The wait is killing me. Hope its worth the wait.

We did the Magic Behind the Steam Trains (October 2006) tour at the Magic Kingdom - for someone who likes steam trains this is a great treat because you get to go back to the roundhouse where the engines are kept and climb up into one and get all close and personal with it. ;)

You also get a lot of cool Walt Disney history and you get into the park early - what's not to like?

We also did the Segway Tour at Epcot (October 2007) and once I figured out how not to kill myself and everyone around me it was a ton of fun! And we loved zipping around the empty world showcase. :thumbsup2

Finished it this afternoon, thought it was really good :thumbsup2 Not his best but his best in awhile.

What type of book does he like? Does he like a little mystery with a little bit of thriller thrown in? Twisted in a little paranormal/spiritual stuff? That's what most of Dean Koontz's books are like. If you think he would like that, I could recommend some of my faves for him:
Watchers
Strangers
From the Corner of His Eye
Lightning
By the Light of the Moon

Ok, I start my good morning post with a complaint - 1 page to read:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 - I did more than that by myself while my nails were drying:lmao:

Come on people - you know I'll hand out punishments and detention if it doesnt improve;) :goodvibes

We did the Keys to the Kingdom in 2000. I booked it just to go down in the utilidors :woohoo:

Me too! - All i wanted to do was the utilidors! - I enjoyed going into the control room though to watch the floats pass by the sensors on the floor etc - I dont know if they stil so that now?

We also did the Segway tour in 2005, which we LOVED!!!

I'd like to do this but I'm sure mine would have a mind of its own and I'd end up running old people over:rotfl:

I wanted to do the Undiscovered Future World Tour last time but they don't allow anyone under 16.

Never heard of this one:confused3

Are you serious?? You have to ASK them if he can fly with them??? That's ridiculous! I'm sure they deal with people with nut allergies all the time! :sad2:

Nope, totally serious:rolleyes: - we have to fill in loads of forms re the severity of the allergy etc and even though we request a nut free meal they still dont guarantee its nut free:rolleyes: - the nut free meal actually arrives at your seat with a big sticker on the top saying "not guaranteed to be nut free":lmao: - how ludicrous(sp) is that? We always take Ellis' food with us... its just a shame when he sees all the other kids with their kiddie packs of goodies and chocolate and his meal arrives - plain salad, plain chicken and brocolli and plain fruit salad:rolleyes: - not very imaginative is it?

Segways, Karen and they I highly recommend them.

Did you find it easy to control?

Karen - we've done the Christmas Decorations tour and loved it. We even got a Christmas Ornament each at the end.

:yay: :yay: Holy cow! - never heard of this one:yay: :yay: - where do I find out about it???? - I wanna do it!!!!!! - I love christmas - as the ornament an exclusive to the tour or just a normal one?

Yay.....my new passporter arrived yesterday. Now I've just got to find some time to read it.:rotfl:

:woohoo: :woohoo: appy reading! - I purposely bought an older one last year cos I didnt want half the book to be filleup with repo info:rotfl:

I remember your trippie about this - looked like fun!

Did you find it hard to control or did you pick it up fast?

Well, thats me all caught up for the morning...

I've been a busy girlie this morning ... up early and I've cleaned all my kitchen and utility cupboards out. Threw away loads of rubbish:banana:

Just having a cuppa before I start on the bathrooms

:woohoo: Hey! - not bad!:woohoo:

Stop playing with your numbers and come out to play:goodvibes

Dont worry Andy - your number 1 spot is safe - I have no intention of fluffing that many:lmao:

Howdy Miss Lady Across the Pond, I trust you are having a good day!!!

Moving in slow motion on this side of the pond this morning. I'd still be in bed asleep if is wasn't for a certain cat that jumped on my shoulder a few minutes ago and scared the heebie-jeebies out of me..........:lmao:

Good morning/afternoon all....

Yesterday was a busy day, but we had a good time. My nephew's birthday party was fun, and he loved his pirate cake.

Pics to come - downloading to photobucket now...

Karen - great photos of Ellis, congrats to him! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Andy - cool pics! I do wonder how they were taken though?

Becky and Cass - I'm thinking about doing the BL challenge on the WISH board too - I really need to get going. Hmmm...a Bobaloser Biggest Loser team?

Hi Jen:wave2:

Glad to hear the cake got there in one piece. Looking forward to your piccies.

Having a busy day today. Just collected Ellis from Grandmas, he's just finished his homework and I'm about to tackle the ironing pile:scared:

Trying to get all the housework done while Neil is at work so we have th day together tomorrow - gym first though:scared: - we're both fed up of being as big as we are. Neither of us have ever been this big before:sad2: so we're going to try and motivate each other. Although the thought of having to wear a swimsuit in 12 weeks should be motivation enough!:lmao:

Where about is the BL challenge? - I looked but couldnt see it:confused3
