Anyone out there?

DH is on the way to the ER with DS. Someone sideswiped DS at an intersection. He told the police that he was fine, and they didn't take a report. Now that the adrenaline has worn off his side started hurting, and he showed his dad, he has some bruising starting on that side. Obviously won't be able to sleep until he gets home.

Becky, I wish I'd been awake to chat with you...so scary.

Andy - The King and I is a great musical! You'll have to post pics Monday. What part does Angelina play?

Chris - the thermometer story cracked me up, especially since I was NOT liking my job yesterday!

And now for something completely different....

Good evening folks...I think I've finally come up with the design that will be on the back of the t-shirts I'm making for my travelling posse. Here's an example:

Fantastic job there Jen!!

Let's see if we can get that $85 up a little by adding the following:
Sun glasses - Every wedding should be prepared for a sunny day.
Deoderant(sp) - All the activities result in that unfriendly generation of odor .
Slippers - Nice comfortable pair help the dancing feet for the girls. Heaven knows the guys don't dance.
Camera(s) - Have to have that if you want those camera batteries for something.

Had them all except the sunglasses. Great idea. I think I'll go out and buy some "Liquor Store Glasses" for the entire wedding party for one of those goofy wedding pics.

Lady with big "personality" needed to help drowning kids to shore in case of DCL sinking,good rates of pay which can be paid in Sterling,dollars,alcoholic beverages or Milk smoothies will be paid,no Twits need apply....

No TWITS??..How about a few big TWINS? (Sorry, I can't help you there either.)

Am sure everything will be fine Becky,i know it's hard but try not to worry This coming from the bloke who wakes his sleeping son to ask "how are you son?"...
Kids who'd hav'em....

Kristin was such a sound little sleeper as a baby that I would often go to her crib and wiggle her around alittle to make sure she was ok.

Nancy, I can't think of anything else for your list. You are waaayyyy more organized than me!

I won't be on here for a couple of days. We are heading to Scott's parents for the weekend. His aunt passed away a couple of days ago and we are going down for the wake and funeral.

Thanks! I think I really like this design, and it will work well for doing multiple t-shirts. It's simple, so even I can do it!

I am one of those people that has to start early for Christmas, or I don't get done in time! We have a bunch of family that we exchange with (which ends up being way too much $$$). But this year, I have a plan! All family that's cruising with us will get their own t-shirt (which are all bought, thanks to the awesome sale at Michaels) and each cabin will get a couple of door signs from me as well. Then the little kids will also get a toy or book, and the adults will get a small treat from Door County (flavored coffee, homemade cherry jam, etc.)

I'm dissing when I really should be exercising

I've been intending going to the gym all morning and I still havent gone

My bags all packed but I just cant face it today

I need to go food shopping too and I cant be bothered doing that either

I'm having a real lazy day today. I've only got off the sofa for food

I need an energy drink (or a good kick up the butt) to get me going.

....Or I could just go lie back down on that sofa and watch a movie

Neil is working overtime today - we call it the "Florida fund" for xmas.

After the panic at easter time when he lost ££££ of work we were unsure, but now we can definately afford to do it.

Its not so much the flights (although they come to $4000) its the rest of it that adds up like park passes, car hire and ......shopping

He's also working Sunday and next bank hol Monday too so we're sorted

You could compromise....do Wii boxing for your exercise. You don't have to go anywhere, and you can stop when you'd like.

But, you don't have to feel guilty about not going to the gym....

Jen - your design is great

Nancy - I think you have everything covered. Do you have large bags to carry wedding gifts in back to the car etc? Would save you lots of trips if you have a roll of binliners. A box to carry the bouquet home in? Dont want it ruined or getting squashed - remember to ask the hotel to spritz the bouquets with water too or even better stand them in water if poss ..... we collected our bouquets the next morning from reception and they were all dried up and half dead with the heat of the hotel. They didnt last more than a day.

Spare camera batteries, cards etc.

Confetti/ rice? - do you do that over there?

Definately snacks - when I was bridesmaid we were starving all morning!
The brides mum had laid on a little buffet for us but we were so delayed at the hairdressers in the morning that we didnt have a single bite. My stomach was rumbling louder than the choir were singing

Chris - I ALWAYS have a pile of ironing to do. I have a 7 year old son that does a different activity every evening in a different uniform/outfit, on top of his school stuff and normal clothes, I have Neils work clothes and overalls and his normal clothes and then of course theres my stuff (and gym gear when we go )

My house could double up as a laundrette most days. My washing machine cries every time I approach it with another armful of washing.
