Morning/Afternoon BOB'ers.

Looks like we've slipped to the 2nd page...could this be the end of BOB?

We had a really cold weekend. No more snow in my part of the country...but freezing temps. The pavements and roads were like skating rinks.

How everyone doing?

Hey Heather,

Laura and I are getting ready for those freezing temps. I bought some really nice stuff to bring along. We also booked a tour and have our oyster cards and Heathrow express tix. Starting to feel almost ready to go.

I've video taped my Christmas decor but haven't edited it yet. I was hoping to do it on my next day off but Laura tells me that our garage door opener died, so I'll be replacing that instead.

I got my promotion with a larger than expected raise. I'm pretty stoked. But the learning curve is steep. Work has been very wierd lately. Numbers are down but the sickness of the patients is crazy high. Sothe pencil-pushers are telling me to cut staff due to the lower numbers but the patients are so sick I don't dare to for fear of being unsafe.

We got the kids a wii for Christmas and I've been doing nothing but spending money on the thing and they haven't even gotten it yet! Laura tells me that we need Mario kart now (Thanks Jeff!).

We are just gettting ready for Christmas and vacation, packing, cooking, baking.... the normal December stuff.

Famous last words....snow fell 30 mins before we left for home. A 40 mins drive took us nearlt 3 hrs.

Hiya Steve...great news that your almost sorted for your trip over here. Rick and I can't wait to see you on 1st. Congrats on the promotion. You'll enjoy the wii. My brother wants us to take ours over to his over christmas. Gotta stock up on batteries for the remotes now

Hey Steve! I definitely know what you mean about work. Lately we've been having a very low census - housewide! But, the patients we do have are pretty busy. Yesturday the day shift admitted 13 patients, though!

As for the wii... it's awesome, but yes, it does eat up your spending money!
But- Mario Kart is well worth it! It seems to be our most used wii game.

Do what they want you to do.

Once you can get out of bed do so, often.

Don't harrass the pretty nurses too much because then they send in some ugly mug like me
