We're home too. We arrived yesterday evening, to some bad news. Rob's mom had to fly home on Monday because her sister (fighting cancer) took a sudden turn for the worse and passed away. Rob's dad stayed here with the kids so they were fine. I felt terrible that Rob's mom couldn't be there to say her final good-byes, but her sister went too quickly. We will all miss her.

Oh no, that is so sad.

I too was slammed with some bad news while sitting at the airport yesterday. My dad fell twice while we were gone and is now in ICU with bleeding on the brain! They are talking brain surgery.

Oh sweetie, that is so sad, please keep me posted.

For some of you who had Walter and Melroy as your service team at dinner, we now have a new saying in our family..... If we go somewhere and the service is bad, we now say "At least it's not as bad as Walter!!!"


Hilarious! I am going to adopt that! It was great having you guys as table mates too. Your daughters are adorable.

Heather, Jeff, Chris, and I were on the EBPC and our saying would be "At least it's not as bad as Sasha"

We called home from Kidani...our dil, Court had the flu and was on Tamiflu. The next day, they had to take Addison to the emergency room. She now has the flu. I think Michael is getting it now. He's not feeling very well. I imagine that Brady will be next.

I called Mike's Mom after we landed in Akron. She had to have a heart Cath on friday and had a mild stroke during the procedure. She's ok, but she has numbing on her one side. Not sure if it will get better or not. She goes back to the Dr. tomorrow.

She died on Monday while we were on the cruise and I think they buried her Thursday....

Hi Matthew.

Yes, June and I got about 3 hours of sleep (counting DST extra hour)
then had to get up to go home.
Stayed up all day yesterday then crashed about 8pm.

Rough to go back to work today

How are you guys doing?

I was up around 7 AM yesterday morning and thought about you guys being on the plane. I'm sorry to hear about everyone not feeling well and all of the family news. We have become very fastidious about hand washing and not touching our faces, etc. Even that's no guarentee. However, I have been very lucky this year and haven't been sick at all. Normally I get whatever creeping crud is going around. With two kids in school ("germ factory") and Beth working at the hospital, who knows what germs are coming into the house.

Well, we had a nice day running around WDW. We are back at BCV now packing up. I am actually ready to be home and in my own bed. Time to settle in for winter season at the airport.

Thanks for the link Chris. I look forward to checking it out. Those were some great pictures from your late night stroll around the ship. I got up early one morning to catch the sunrise. I ended up running into a BOBer pajama party meet on Deck 10 Aft. All of the ladies were there and MIKE! Funny how he happened to show up to the pajama meet.

What a great time with everyone! Aidan went on and on at school today about his trip. All the teachers were recounting our cruise and WDW trip when I picked him up today.

BIg hugs to everyone who had bad news when they returned from the cruise.

We are home! We definitely had a MAGICAL time on our first (and not last!!) Disney cruise

I will post more tomorrow about the trip.. but I first and foremost want to thank the folks that left the great DIStag gifts for us They are wonderful -- the kids were so excited to find them outside the door.

The cats were mad when we got here but now they won't leave me alone.

Hope everyone that went to MNSSHP had a great time tonight, and everyone traveling today had a safe trip home.

We LOVE all of the FE gifts, it was sooo much fun! Thank you, everyone for sharing, Maddie would be on the look out every time to see if we got anything else.

Well, I feel absolutely terrible at the moment. On Friday I had a cough starting, by Saturday it was a sore throat, all the flight home I was coughing like a sealion and then had to endure a 2 hour delay at Manchester airport. Got home, had a hot bath, caught up on the Dis and havent moved since. I've managed to get Ellis to school, but he was coughing a little this morning so he might be getting it too.
I ache all over, my head feels like its going to explode and I'm feeling really sorry for myself

There were big ones up by the shore so I had to keep my feet up the whole time. Yeah, yeah, I know, its their home, blah blah, but you'd think just for one day they'd let me borrow their beach

Hi Rose! I think I saw you & June more than any other Bobers! It was so much fun meeting you gals! A friend of ours who was kind enough to drive us to the airport and picked us up afterwards, her husband AND son was tested positive w/ H1N1 while we were away. Luckily she didn't get it. It's pretty scary.

Chris, I thought I saw you walking by when DH & I were waiting to see Jocelyn at the rebooking desk, but I wasn't 100% sure; I didn't want to stop you and had it not been you, I'd be pretty embarrassed in front of everyone, not to mention, I didn't want the guy to think I was a looney. . BTW, we're HUGE Fanilows, so thank you for that.




Sorry to hear about some of the bad news; hugs and prayers going out to you guys. I'm bummed I didn't get to meet everyone or attend any of the BoB meets...traveling w/ our families, was a lot more stressful than we anticipated. I will try to upload some photos soon.
