Hope you enjoyed the pictures!! Going car shopping!!

Hi everyone. I haven't read back too far. Just let me know if I've missed anything. We had a very hectic day yesterday. I took Alex in for an x-ray because the day before he fell off of his rip-stick and hurt his shoulder.....

....broken collar bone. UGH!

Poor little guy is heartbroken that he is out of football for the rest of the season.

Luckily, it's not a bad break and should heal quickly and totally.

I am so ready for a cruise. :rotfl:

 for Alex.

Geez..... we're going to have 2 young men at our table who are recovering
and need to take it easy on the cruise.
Is our table cursed?

I booked Bernards Tours for St. Maarten. I think others are doing this too..:)
I was going to either book the Trunk Bay excursion or Sunny Liston for St. Thomas, but we'll probably just catch transport to Megan's Bay or Saphire to save $$ and have more freedom to do what we want.

DH and I did the Trunk Bay thing with another couple on our cruise in 05, and I LOVED the beach there. It was like heaven! I didn't snorkel, but he did and thought it was cool. I considered booking it this time with the kids, but for 5 of us it's pricey, plus there are no other amenities on that beach, that I recall. I'm all about beach lounging+bar/restaurant+music+toys...:)

I figure the kids can try snorkeling on CC and that way there's other stuff to do if they don't like it.

We're probably do Sapphire too, as Joanne suggested. Mostly to save money, but also because Trunk Bay is so far to get to and then you can only stay for a couple of hours.

Both June and I have some serious $$$ issues going on so we need to watch it on the cruise.

I started feeling a little icky this morning (like a cold coming on)... going to go out at lunch and get some mega Vitamin C and some Zicam.

I will NOT get sick. I will NOT get sick. I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.I will NOT get sick.

Great idea!:thumbsup2

Wendi - you will be the little kid jumping up and down and up and down squealing.... wait... I just described MYSELF!! :rotfl2::lmao:

Not everyone is making t-shirts - some people are just doing buttons, some people aren't doing anything! Just enjoy being on the cruise - you are still a "BoBer" even if you don't have a sign on you!!

I'm making t's and buttons:goodvibes

(but haven't started my t's yet:rolleyes1)

I got my BoB at Best Buy (an Electronics store here in the US). He was with the DVDs - since the movie just came out this week. He's kind of short - only 4 1/2 inches high... but he'll make GREAT friends with all the other Plankys and his buddy Mr. Krabs (they should arrive next week via post!)

I got my Bob at the post office:lovestruc

Just a quick note - not cruise related...

As most of you know, my brother's wife had their twins back on July 27th and they were almost 4 months EARLY and were only 1 1/2 pounds each. Well - they are still in the hospital, but MAN are they getting bigger and fatter and healthier!

They are sleeping in the same bed now and neither of them have ventilators or anything extraordinary. Their next step is to be eating my mouth exclusively.

Merrick (boy) is 3 pounds 12.7 ounces and Marlee is 3 pounds 2 ounces now.

Here are some recent pictures sent by my sister-in-law...

Hey sis... wake up!!

Thanks for letting me be a proud first time aunt.....

Awesome:thumbsup2

So glad they're doing well.
Any word on when they might be able to come home?

We thought about the butterfly farm---but really wanted to do something w/ the 4 of us that has to do with the water---Coral World Marine Park by Land/Sea is the one we really want by thats the one that only my husband is signed up for-St. Thomas--hoping to get all of us on when we board---
Castaway Cay--we figured we would let the kids go play and dh and I could enjoy the day together doing something---
So if we don't do snorkeling there--cause there are no sea turtles to see there---we are trying to dec. which one to pick at the other island--
We are looking at Trunk Bay also--------------but I guess it all depends on the Coral World one -----guess I will just cancel what I have and wait until we get on the ship-------ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhpirate: just wanted everything in order :thumbsup2

My husband and Alex did Coral World before. Julia had a melt down so her and I went back on the ship and had a LONG nap. They liked it. I'll ask him later if it is worth the trip.
We've also done Trunk Bay. It is BEAUTIFUL! I can't say enough about it.:thumbsup2

Off to cheerleading practice we go. I'll have to finish catching up later. See ya.

OMG! All the shows deleted:eek::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

And yes, the leaves are changing. It is my favorite season. One thing I'll surely miss if someday (I hope ) to move out of state.

Do the leaves change in VA/W VA Lori?

Yes they do. They are beautiful. Come on down and see.:goodvibes
