I am ready for bed. It is 11 pm and I am still reading the dis. :confused3 I have been so busy with the kids since Wednesday after school. Remember Kristen went to San Fransciso for her birthday weekend with other daughter Erika and best friend Veronica. So here was my schedule for the weekend. Football and cheering on Wednesday night.. Thursday girl scouts after school, Elijah and I studied at Starbucks, then football and cheering after that. Friday, Elijah had roller blading party with his orchestra from school. Saturday, Asiah cheered three games and Elijah played in one of them. He has not felt the best since his mother went to San Franscisco. Saturday night Walt, Asiah, Elijah and I went to Earl of Sandwich. We really enjoyed. Yummy sandwiches, cookies, and chips. It was getting me and Walt ready for Downtown Disney. Kids were alittle jealous. Today we went to Six Flags and spent the entire day. It was alot of fun. Watched the shows (halloween) and kids rode the rides. They had a fantastic time. Asiah had to get use to the screepy people. Elijah had his private violin lesson tonite. Boy have we been busy. Up early tomorrow for school and gymnastics for Asiah after school. No football or cheering. hooray. easy day. Mom will be home around 8 pm tomorrow night. Woo Hoo. I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. I have had alot of fun with the kids this weekend but I have missed Walt. I have stopped by everyday to see him. I stay at daughters house since she also has two dogs that need to be cared for. Talk to you all tomorrow. Diane

Whew! Sounds like somebody needs a vacation! :cool1::cool1:

(How about a nice week-long Disney Cruise?)

Taco soup sounds yum, you'll have to share.

I'll post my recipe for Taco soup, since Angie is offline now.

2 points for 1 cup; makes about 12 servings.

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion
1 package Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix
1 package taco seasoning mix (mild)
1 can pinto beans
1 can mild chile beans
1 can whole kernel corn
2 cans stewed tomatoes

Chop the onion, and brown with the meat. Drain, then add all other ingredients, without draining the water off. Simmer until hot. It's only 2 points, and my daughters LOVE it!

If you like hotter foods, you can step up the taco seasoning, the chile beans, or substitute a can of Rotel spiced tomatoes for one of the cans of tomatoes. I make it mild, since my family doesn't like hot stuff, and put lots of Texas Pete into it.

You can also eat it with Baked Tostitos scoops, which are about 2 points for a serving (usually about 12 chips).

Mickey can i just say these are ex-friend Heather's views and her views alone and that were more then happy to pay whatever you see fit to charge us for the privilege to stay in one of your car Parks...............

I suspect Heather maybe about to visit the "other side" of Castaway key, poor Rick......:rolleyes1

I won't repeat some of the things you've said to me lately about highway robbery!

Good morning everyone...

Just got finished at the Dentist, now its time to head in to work. I have a short week this week as I am taking Wednesday through Thursday for vacation to go visit my grandparents in Pennsylvania.

I have no more complete 5 day weeks before the cruise. That's kind of a cool thing! This week is two days, next week is 4, and the following week is 3.

Lucky you. Have a great time at your grandparents house and be safe.

Hey peeps,

Sorry, been MIA. I got really sick this weekend and spent the entire weekend in bed! :scared1:

I will start a new thread soon :thumbsup2

If you see three crazy girls there. Say hello from their mother. He He. They are going to Sausalito and Muir Woods today. They rented a car. Tomorrow will probably be Chinatown and crooked road and a few in city tourist things. On Sunday they are going on a grayline wine tour.

Funny story. Douglas's best friend once drove down Lombard Street backwards. Can you imagine?

Got kids off to school. :cool1: Walked the dogs for about an hour.:cheer2::cheer2: Now at home reading the computer and drinking my coffee. Walter had it made for me when I got home. :woohoo: :woohoo: Pretty soon I need to drive to Austin to pick up girls at the airport. :cheer2: Flights were too full to San Antonio. :headache::headache: Diane
