I have one somewhere of all of us but the DCL CM cut me and my dads heads off.

I wish the shuttle would have lifted off about 90 minutes later. We would literally have had a front row seat from the port side of Deck 10.

Even so, that picture with the shuttle in the background is awesome! Looks like you planned it!

Hey everyone!!! Just wanted to check in and say hi!! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pictures. Thank you all for sharing them (more please??)

Dave and I have different ideas on how to spend our days before the cruise. I want to see everything before hand and get excited and he wants to "experience" it when he gets there... :confused3

I'm headed off in a few minutes with Abby - she's getting her braces today!! Super excited!!!

Jay was only 4 on our last cruise. I think he went down the slide twice and was chicken! He is much more comfortable in the water now, so I imagine he will be going down non stop this time around.

It's funny, during the summer he asked me, "dad I wish there was a dock at Castaway Cay that I can jump in the water off of." I told him there was, but he didn't believe me. I did a quick google image search and showed him. He was really happy when he saw the structure that there is at the family beach.

I never thought to prepare my kids for swimming in the ocean. The coast of CA is way too cold to spend anytime swimming. So, until the cruise, they had never swam in salt water. Leah jumped in and got a mouthfull and absolutely freaked out. It took me quite a while to settle her down. Stuart on the other hand loved that little bay. And like your son got a real kick out of that play structure in the water.

Ooohhh! An FO maybe a U - FO!!

You are too funny!!

Your cold weather has moved south!! Only 60 this am!! it will be beautiful by noon, I may have to sit outside for a while later!!

Our kids are very used to the ocean. We vacation for a week at the beach every year and we go to the Long Island Sound regularly throughout the summer.

Funny story...

Last cruise we were at 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. We pretty much had our stretch of beach to ourselves, but there was a group of about a half dozen young adults from the Carnival ship that was moored with us. They had to be landlubbers because they saw a tiny jellyfish and started spazzing out. Sam, who was 6 at the time, grabbed her bucket, scooped it up and dumped it in the sand. I think they felt kind of foolish seeing this 6 year old, albeit a very tiny 6 year old one up them with the jelly!

I was supposed to finish my t-shirts this weekend, but we went to the in-laws' instead and watched the Bears game. I did 6 shirts a while ago (Christmas presents last year for the in-laws) but I didn't do ours at that time. I figured Thomas would want to change the character on the back (which he did!) if I made it to early.

I have the designs done - just need to print and iron.

GO BEARS!

You're almost there then.

Laura is starting to get stressed about packing for the cruise. She's been piling things for a while now, but now that the MOPS convention is over she's feeling the pressure of getting ready for the vacation.

I have a packing list (that I seem to keep adding to daily)...and I am just starting to gather "stuff" in one spot for packing.

It's just gotten cold here (high today is only supposed to be 58) so I should be able to start packing the shorts.

My biggest stresser is not taking too many suitcases - how do we pack everything we need in as few cases as possibe??? :rotfl2:

Thats our dilema too! Especially with an overzealous packer in our house and it isn't the one typing this message! :lmao::rotfl:

Are you sure it was screeching and not squealing??pirate::lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

:lmao: I knew you'd pick up on that:lmao:

I would love it if some could post pics of their past cruises to help get me even more excited.:goodvibes I love seeing everyone pics.
Chaz (I think I am right), you were on KK1 weren't you? Why don't you post some of your pics and see if any of us were hanging about in them? That would be funny.
I will try to dig some up.
Gotta go to bed soon. Have a good evening everyone.

Wow, was he? I didn't know that.

Well, Ellis survived the allergy tests.... just!

Poor kid had 12 done in the end!:scared1: - I was expecting a few, but not that many:headache:

He was real brave (kinda!;))

We can now add cats, dogs, fur and dustmite to the list of allergies:rolleyes:

No pets for us then:rolleyes1

Apparantly he now needs to go on to the adult dosage for epipen too:eek: - he's just turned 9!

Cass - I have 2 eipen jnr with a long shelf life if you want them? - they are identical all over the world, dosage etc. Just let me know. Might save you a few $

Just a quick "hi" before I start my day....been lurking, just have not had time to post. Thanks for all the cool pics. Hopefully I will be able to check back later this evening..

Have a great day everyone!
