They also say that if you pick your room, you are less likely to get one, but I don't know if that is true or not. I'd like one, but we're just happy to be cruising. I have had a couple of "teenager" moments here today, so I wish we were leaving now.

Cool pic, Cass. It actually made Emily come over to the computer. Can you believe she has the nerve to be mad at us for grounding her? She broke curfew last night, came home really late when she was supposed to be spending the night at a friend's house, left there and went to her boyfriend's house (parents were home) instead of coming home. I freaked out when Moose woke me up out of a dead sleep when she got home.

Grounded til October.

Had a pretty good thunder and lightening storm this morning. All it needed was the torrential downpour and I would have right back on the Magic going through the canal.

You know it would be a nice cruise to book, not as hot as August (not happening for us though). But it would start out warm in the caribbean and then get cold on the west coast. But I hear the canal is that humid and hot year round.

I had room 2554, which I picked for Jan '06, and got upgraded to 6138, a Cat 7. So you can still get an upgrade from an assigned room.

The bad thing was, the Secret Verandah room was open on our side, but wouldn't let me move up to that even though it wasn't full. Guess I shouldn't have looked a gift horse in the mouth. Probably jinxed us for good now.
