Rose, call me to set up a time to meet.

Hi everyone else. I am on scott I touch so this is short and sweet. I see you all talking about the new ship. Can't wait to catch up here to see what will be offered.

Have you seen any info on the new "levels" of Castaway Club membership? I saw some posts about "gold" and "platinum" membership. I don't have my card/number with me, so I can't look on the site to see what the requirements are for either.

Friday at last:woohoo:

Morning Karen.....it was grey here to start, but its getting better.

It is gray here in San Antonio. It has rained off and on since Wednesday. We have lakes and rivers where they have never been before. I guess I should not complain. Everything is very brown here since it has not rained in the past year.

Hi Lori. Hope you have a great weekend and mini-meet.

Are the kids going with you? Or just the two of you?

Ellis' homework all finished:woohoo:

He only had 3 easy pieces this week - I think she's easing them in gently:rotfl:

It'll be 5 or 6 pieces by next week.... thats when the "fun" starts:rolleyes:

Hmmm thought he said the Dream was doing 3,4,5 & 7 day cruises in 2011 and the Magic is going back to the Med and I think some southern Caribbean cruises???

I just went to the DCL site. They are going Southern for 10 and 11 nights, but it is only the Holiday Cruises. 11 for Xmas and 10 for New Years. Those prices will be rediculous.

I think we need to start possibly looking at other lines Karen. Although, I'd like to try the new ship at least once.

I agree, but I dont really know where to start! RCL look good but I dont know what their prices are like in October compared to Disney.:confused3

The new ship will be a few years off for us.:sad2:

I hoping (and praying!) that once Neil gets a) into the villa and b) back onboard he'll realize he wants to do it all again next year:rotfl2:

I havent booked next years summer holiday so you never know...;)... you'll have to work on him at dinner for me:thumbsup2:rotfl:

I am here for a conference for work. Just Scott came with me. Having a good time so far. Gotta go back to class.

Help the dumb girl in the corner...

Will the Dream be doing the weeklong cruises in the caribbean during the summer when the Magic is in the Med?

Or will the Dream take over for the Wonder with 3 and 4 day cruises?

Maybe the Dream will take over for the Wonder while the Magic is still ported at Canaveral, but when the Magic goes to the med, the Dream will do 7 nighters?

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Clear as mud love.....:rolleyes1

Well this will suck for pulling kids out of school to do the PC repo:

Yep, I can't see me doing it.

I'm still reading through the other site. I didn't see where it said the 3,4, 5 & 7 were specific to anyone ship yet.

I don't recall him saying anything about the Southern Caribbean. I'll have to listen again.

But yes, the Magic is going back to the Med.

Now that I'd like to do. But I'd really have to save my dimes!

The Silver level is the basic level, and the benefits are the same as are currently offered to Castaway Club members. Silver members will continue to recieve a Castaway Club gift at each sailing, and can book excursions and make Palo reservations at the 90-day mark.

Passengers who have sailed 6 or more times with Disney will be promoted to the Gold level. Gold members will receive a different and "enhanced" Castaway Club gift, and will be allowed to join the Concierge guests in booking Palo, Flounders, Vista Spa and shore excursions at the 105-day window.

If you've sailed 11 or more times with Disney, you are considered a "Platinum" passenger. The benefits are the same as the Gold level, though the Castaway Club gift will be a little nicer. Gold and Platinum members will have the opportunity to book new itinieraries before they are available to non-members.

I haven't been able to figure out what the Dream and Magic are doing.

Sweet, I'm Gold. :cool1:

Too bad I couldn't have booked at 105 days for the BOB.

They really should base it on Nights Sailed. Someone who does 6 Magic Cruises compared to 6 Wonder Cruises has spent more with DCL. Level of Room should come into play too. Don't want to get it too complicated though.

I feel the same way, I've always wanted to do an Alaskan Cruise but was waiting because I want to do it with Disney :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2

10 more minutes!!!!!!! :cool1::yay::woohoo:

You'll love it, Cass.

Looks like we will have to plan BOB meet around this one:

Just got the CC newsletter. Here is some info from it. :)

They have a snowglobe with the ship with Alaska on the cover. :)

The Disney Dream will be unveiled live in NYC on October 29. Beginning at 4:15 pm EST you can watch the streaming video of the unveil and be part of the action at disneycruise.com.

Can't remember if we would have turned the clocks back yet or not (this would be our third sea day and after St. Thomas). If so, it would be on the same time. If not, we'd be at 5:15 and 30 minutes prior to early dinner.
