Maddie Update:
If all goes well and she doesn't have anymore breathing episodes she will get to go home on Thursday. She is off the IV and Feeding tube and is drinking straight mommy milk from the bottle

Formal night - are everyones kids wearing ties, suits etc? Just tried Ellis' suit on - too short in the arms.... I feel another shopping trip coming on.

I might just get him a nice shirt and tie and black trousers? - it'll save space in case and he'll never wear the suit again anyway.

You guys & gals on the other side of the pond are up awful early!! I know, youre 4 hours ahead of me (east coast).

My sister married a Brit; I need to find out exactly where he's from. I know it's SW of London, near/on the coast, but I'll let you know when I find out (just for giggles).

Might be a nice day here today - the suns trying to peek throguh the clouds

Today,.... as Donkey would say, "I'm making waffles!" - I just fancy them for brekkie. How many points in a mini Mickey waffle?

On Disney boats, everything has a point value of exactly ZERO!

Of course, they do tend to catch up with us in the end....

I'm getting a little nervous re packing

I keep gl;ancing over at the 3/4 packed case without a single item of clothing or shoes in it and I'm panicking! All thats in there is toiletries, books to read etc, beach toys etc and tag stuff!

The shoes will fill that case, which leaves two cases for 3 peoples clothes inc formal - I wll also take a rolling cooler to fill with wine for onboard

Keep seeing everybody talking about having stuff packed already. Sheesh! We won't start until 2 weeks before! We have school, church, horse lessons, horse show, and who knows what else going on between now and then anyways. It all comes together, though.

Keep seeing everybody talking about having stuff packed already. Sheesh! We won't start until 2 weeks before! We have school, church, horse lessons, horse show, and who knows what else going on between now and then anyways. It all comes together, though.

That church is simply breathtaking! And, no power tools, no modern equipment, all done with oxen and carts and ropes. Took a few decades usually. Teresa would be bored in an hour, but I could probably spend a week in there looking at the architecture. Simply fantastic.

Ha! If we packed up a week before, one of our daughters would need something from one of the suitcases. It would end up being on the bottom of the last suitcase we looked in, also.

Good Morning everybody
Just though I would jump in and say Hi. Nancy is working today ( Subbing) and she as usual has left me a honey do list. This wasn't on the honey do but I just got through cleaning out the old caulking in the Tub and shower and putting in new. About once or twice a year I like do get it done.
Can't believe how time is flying. Over the weekend Nancy was working on our pirates outfits. Not fancy but it will work.

We loved the mansions. We stayed in the building called Magnolia Terrace. It was very close to the bus stop, main pool and the quiet pool. I think it was the best building in the whole resort...

We loved POR and would return in a heart beat. That being said we are doing POP this time around because our 5 year old fell in love with the bowling pin pool. He couldn't be convinced that a water slide etc.. would be better. There's no accounting for some tastes!

That's funny! I had gone into fits trying to convince Leah she'd like Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. She adamantly refused to go, asking me everyother day if I had cancelled her reservation yet. She finally relented and she loved it! (I almost cancelled that reservation twice) Kids are funny that way!

I'm a verandah girl myself. I insisted on the verandah for the Med cruise and now I'm spoiled. We actually booked the same cabin we had for that one. It has a great location and I love having the verandah. Sarah and I ate breakfast on it our first morning of that cruise. She loved it!

My kids HATED the verandah! Don't know why, except that it was hot out there usually. Leah really wilts in the heat. Our breakfast on the ocean morning was a major bust. So for right now, I'm not spending the extra money. When they're older, I may get a verandah for Laura and I and a Cat 11 across the hall for them.

Cruise questions!!

Can kids order off the adult menu in restaurants?

Tea party - Alice thingy - is this still on?

xmas ornaments - I wonder if they have any new ones?

Deck 4 - 1/3 of a mile? - is this where you go through the "engine" part - I remember walking round the deck one evening and going through some sort of equipment and noisy engine bit?

LASTLY......... IS IT TIME TO BOARD YET?

I believe that kids can order off the adults menu. I can't get mine to do that though.

That's what my DD thinks too!! Maybe they will upgrade us and we can SHARE! (Doesn't it sleep like 8 people???) I'm willing to share!

We booked Palo on that night, so we aren't worried about formal night for the girls - they will be just thrilled being in the clubs.
