spiderman coming to disney. who'd have thunk it?

What would that mean for the marvel related stuff at other theme parks?
I'm thinking of one right now..... the spiderman ride at Universal I think? Or is it at Great Escape/Six flaggs?
Would they have to get rid of them or rename them or pay money to Disney

Wow just found the last thread already on a new one. I am amazed. Since i a new to this thread and missed the others. Going to ask if anyone has booked excursions for the islands on their own. not through disney. Have done the eastern before and looking for something different. Sorry if i a repeating something you have probably already talked about.

We move fast these days and probably even faster in the next 6 weeks!

If all goes well and she doesn't have anymore breathing episodes she will get to go home on Thursday. She is off the IV and Feeding tube and is drinking straight mommy milk from the bottle

Cruise questions!!

Topsiders - themed lunches? - how can I find out what day is what theme?

They vary each cruise, won't know for sure until you get the Navigator for the next day onboard.

Can kids order off the adult menu in restaurants?

Absolutely and you can order off the kids menu if you want.

Wine - corkage? - if I have a bottle of wine from an onboard gift do I still pay corkage being it was bought oboard?

$15 if you bring a bottle to dinner. You can bring a glass of wine to dinner though, just pour it before you leave for the restaurant. Ask your stateroom host for a bottle opener

Tea party - Alice thingy - is this still on?

Disney has stated that they will be honoring all previous contracts and depending on profitability renewing them.

I don't do well with that either. I'm usually mild mannered and relaxed. But after having irritated me my co-workers say Angry-Steve comes out and he's not so nice to play.

I had a door-to-door guy come to the house the other day. Usually I politely tell them not interested and close the door.

This guy rings the bell about three times in rapid succession (strike one, I know the sound of my doorbell and know when I need to answer it. Multiple rings only serve to annoy.) Then when I answer the door he has his iPod earphones in, with his back turned to me, dancing (strike two, if you aren't serious enough about whatever you are trying to sell how do you expect me to take you seriously?) Then he turns in an appearantly coreographed move and suddenly appears to notice me. Affects a german accent and launches into a "cutesy" bit about not being from America. (maybe this works to endear some weaker minded fools to him, but he was already on strike two and I was not in the mood for cute.) I cut him off and asked him what it was that brought him to my door. Again he starts into his long-version of the sales pitch. (Strike three, when asked to get to the point, one must always get to the point!) At that time I launched into him about interrupting me with my family time (I really don't get enough) and how rude it was to waste my time in such an inappropriate manner. (Angry-Steve) He couldn't gather up with assorted sales boxes fast enough. I really shook him up.

Sounds like Angry steve must be related to Angry Tom.

Dave is excited about it - but I'm wondering what that will do to the Marvel related attractions at Universal!!

We were thinking the same thing. I gues they will have to rename some of the attractions or pay Mickey big bucks to keep the names and characters. That Mickey is such a smart mouse.

Ha! If we packed up a week before, one of our daughters would need something from one of the suitcases. It would end up being on the bottom of the last suitcase we looked in, also.

That was what I was thinking!

We packed for my daughters to go to grandma's house for 3 weeks. (About 9 outfits including nice clothes for church and then just basic summer clothes.) Megan lamented the last couple of days before they left that she didn't have anything to wear at home!
