Hey guys - what's been happening? I havent felt like posting since the 3rd. - I got fired from my job on that day. But, we're still going on the cruise. Don't need any sympathy from anybody, just pray for me to get a decent job! Still looking forward to seeing everybody on the boat tho.

Sorry to hear this Chaz. Some of us here can relate.

Well - it's a bunch of LEADERS doing the camping this weekend - no kids allowed (YAY!!!!) But I think that pillowfighting is an ESSENTIAL part of girl scouting... right up there with selling cookies!!

Which reminds me of a funny picture someone sent me yesterday...

Angie, I was also a Girl Scout leader when my daughter was little. We always looked forward to our own camping trip too. We called it "Tramp Camp".

Sorry to hear that, keep up the good attitude, I was in the same boat in May but then they can't figure it out yet in Dallas so I am still employed, crappy job but it's a paycheck which I am grateful for!!

Hello my wife and 2 kids 7 and 2/3( she turns 3 on the ship)are cruiseing with all of you. I was wondering without reading all the threads on here are any of you doing a cabin to cabin trick or treat. We did this a few years ago and it was fun. I didn't know since we come back halloween day.

Welcome to you & your family. I am Nancy (the other half of Dan & Nan). We won't be doing any trick or treating on the ship but I thin there will be many who do.

That's too bad (is that too much sympathy?!!!) Glad you're still cruising though.

Something will turn up, I'm positive! But, I've been being Mr. Mom for two weeks now - cleaning house, doing laundry & dishes, etc. Teresa's kinda liking that, but I really need employment!

You & Dan can comiiserate about the household chores thing, although for him there are no kids involved so it's pretty simple.

I think that my kids Pirate costumes will be doing triple duty that week. MNSSHP, Pirate Night, and Halloween festivities on the ship.


Ditto. But I have no room to pack another costume and Sean won't have any problems wearing his pirate costume over and over.

Angie, so glad to hear about the babies.

I thinks there will be lots of Pirate costume repeats since most of us are in the same situation with luggage. Argh!!

Send one this way!! Got a flat last night. Luckily I was near a parking lot and didin't have to pull over on the road!!! I did the damsel in distress and called Roger. I couldn't even get the lug nuts loosened!!!

Hey, I would have done the same thing - I wouldn't be able to change the tire either!

How are things Nancy? glad to see you back!!

Actually I'm not really back - still working but it looks like this gig will come to an end shortly since they have 2 promising candidates. Just not sure when the one they choose can start. Maybe next week but certainly by the end of the month, leving me plenty of time to pack! Every time I press an outfit for school I do one extra thing for the cruise. After all, we're pretty much done with our summer clothees up this way!

DCL has been announcing Halloween festivities for the whole month so there should br trick or treating. Welcome aboard!

Then it slows down again once we all get back to work.
