Yep; it's Andie, but she stays with #1. #3 DOES go to Floriday & pick up chicks while delivering pizza! Time for more laundry. :laundy:

Hello my wife and 2 kids 7 and 2/3( she turns 3 on the ship)are cruiseing with all of you. I was wondering without reading all the threads on here are any of you doing a cabin to cabin trick or treat. We did this a few years ago and it was fun. I didn't know since we come back halloween day.

Well folks - my first attempt at a totally homemade curry was a total success - it was delicious!:yay:

One of the nicest curries I've ever had:yay:... I'm not boasting because my friend did most of it, but oh my goodness - it was georgous. I made chicken curry and bombay potatoes with rice and peas.

I just hope my next batch on my own is just as good:rolleyes1

Sounds yummy! Do you mind sharing the recipe?

watched the finale of big brother.:thumbsup2
very happy about the ending.:woohoo::yay:

I was happy about that ending as well. The best one won!

I was very happy about the winner as well. I think that Dawg was happy because Laura (the BIKINI model with the big....personality) was at the reunion show!

Does anyone know roughly how much eg walmart etc sell a 8gb nano for? :confused3

I want one now and might wait til i get over there rather than paying uk prices.

I looked at Walmart.com and it appears they are running $129.90 USD (or 78.74 GBP)

Hey guys - what's been happening? I havent felt like posting since the 3rd. - I got fired from my job on that day. :sad1: But, we're still going on the cruise. Don't need any sympathy from anybody, just pray for me to get a decent job! Still looking forward to seeing everybody on the boat tho.

:hug:So sorry about your job!! That's stinks! I really hope you find something soon. Remind us what your job is (I am having brain issues today....)

Hiya Ataylor and :welcome:

We haven't arranged a cabin to cabin trick or treat as many of us are attending MNSSHP before and after the cruise. DCL are also organising trick or treating on board during our trip. Here's Cass's post from earlier yesterday

It was thought that kids would OD on all that candy. :rotfl:

Lots of info on page one of this thread. Ask away if you have any more questions.

Well, it WAS a computer programmer for a door wholesaler. I'm pretty good with computers, but have never had any formal training or classes. But, something will turn up! :thumbsup2 Just going to keep a positive attitude. :)

Welcome!

I'm Jen, and I will be sailing with DH Pete and our DS who is 6 1/2.

As Heather stated, we aren't doing a trick or treat, but looks liek DCL will be doing one on board! This was just discussed starting yesterday - we should be getting a note with our cruise documents. It should be fun!

Please feel free to stay and chat!

now wait a minute...you're teaching these young girls the art of pillowfighting?
:rotfl::rotfl: you sure you're not the mysterious bigred?

Well - it's a bunch of LEADERS doing the camping this weekend - no kids allowed (YAY!!!!) But I think that pillowfighting is an ESSENTIAL part of girl scouting... right up there with selling cookies!!

Which reminds me of a funny picture someone sent me yesterday...

Good morning all! All caught up reading everyones updates - makes my mornings great!! I had to get to work early this morning because we had a conference call with our Brussels office and then one right after with our London office. My boss' boss is going there in 2 weeks and I REALLLLLY want to go.... Oh well!! :-)

Not much going on here - couldn't wake up this morning!! Have a great weekend planned - Girl Scout leader training at our local Girl Scout camp. Leaders only for 2 days learning all kinds of neat stuff to take back to teach our girls (one class is ceramics!!!!) Yes - 200 girl scout leaders... all in one camp (simma down, Mike!!!) :rotfl2: I'll make sure to start a pillow fight and have someone take pictures!

Well - better give the company some of my time!

Ang

Angie i use to go to all the leaders camps when my girls were young. Now I just got home from the girl scout store. My granddaughter Asiah is going to be a brownie. It will be her first year in girl scouts. She has never had time to do it. My friend who i volunteer with at school asked if Asiah wanted to be in her troop. Of course, I jumped. I was so excited. my girls were scouts their entire school life. I had to pick up a vest, numbers, pin and a few patches for her today for my daughter. I had so much fun looking at the things in the store. Boy has time changed. So much fun. I will probably end up helping the leader. I was a leader for many years and really enjoyed it. Brought back great memories.

How awesome Di!!! I fell into being a leader completely by accident - and have been doing it for going on 6 years now. I have 17 girls in my troop this year and have Brownies, Juniors AND Cadettes!! :scared1: Most of them are siblings (and I have a problem turning anyone away!)

It's been so rewarding and we are the "fun" troop.... we like to visit places (been to the White House - twice - Great Wolf Lodge, Williamsburg, etc).

Make sure to take a picture of Asiah in her Brownie vest and send it to me!!

(I'm not allowed to go into the store... I tend to get in trouble spending $$ in there)

I think this was the best car we ever rented in the US. Plenty of space for the suitcases.

I have had mine since 2002. Really a good little car, back seat fits a six foot teen ager!!
