I'm sooooo excited for him! Love them all so much! Thank you all for your prayers and hugs - they have truly been a blessing to us all!

Thanks for sharing Angie. Looks like they're getting stronger each day.

That's me caught up.

We have a bit of mixed weather day today...sunshine, clouds and no dobt some showers.

I'm off work today...Rick's taken his baby:rotfl:(his new car) in for a service. When he gets back we're off on errands and then taking Mum for lunch. It's her birthday tomorrow, but as she is busy we asked her if she would like to go for lunch today.

Ok, I did some digging and found the letter DCL is sending to everyone who is cruising in October...

Dear Guest
Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line vacation. We look forward to sailing with you and want to take this opportunity to share with you some important information as you prepare to pack for your vacation.
During the entire month of October we'll be celebrating Hlloween on every voyage. There will be several themed events, including traditional trick-or-treating and a special costume parade for children.
Though not required, we encourage Guests of all ages to bring along their costumes for these special events. There will even be a costume contest for our adult guests on one evening with prizes awarded based on the following categories: Funniest, Best Group, Most Spooky, Most Original, Most Disney
More information on themed nights, times and locations will be available onboard in the Personal Navigator that will be delivered to your stateroom.
All guests are invited to wear costumes; however, we ask that you choose costumes which are not obstructive or offensive. To avoid any disappointment or delay in your boarding process, we ask that when considering costume options you refrain from bringing toys or props that resemble guns, knives or other related implements, as these items will not be allowed onboard.
Again, we look forward to sailing with you and hope you have a magical cruise.
Sincerely,
The Cast and Crew of Disney Cruise Line

How awesome!!!!

Thanks Steve for the heads-up :thumbsup2:goodvibes

Oh WOW! I hope this is right!!!! Thomas will be SO excited!

We got a costume catalog in the mail a couple of weeks ago and of course Thomas really wanted the Jedi costume and robe - well in that catalog it was $40 for the costume plus $35 for the robe - no way did I want to pay that! So, Grandma (my mom), bless her heart, decided to try to make one for him. So far, she has the robe done (it turned out gorgeous!) and the shirt. She's still working on the pants, belt, and boots. Well, after this labor of love, I thought for sure I was going to have to drag my tired self around the neighborhood for ToT after we get home, but if they are celebrating Halloween on the ship we can bring his costume along!!!!!:banana::banana:

Awwww, that's too sweet Angie. :lovestruc

So glad I got my tickets for it (need to remember to print them off!)

:confused3 I sure hope there isn't anything to print off. I'm like Steve and got my cards mailed to me. :confused3

I looked up some tickets to this when we booked last month -- just 'in case' we could arrange it -- I couldn't find any for less than $160 each.

Hagan cried when he found out we would "miss" Halloween :sad1: Now I know, of course, he won't care when we get on the ship and all... but you know how it is.. being a mom I wanted to do what I could :guilty:

I decided today, that I will order some baskets from Shirley at The Perfect Gift with lots of pirate-y things for the kids, since that will pretty much be their Halloween :) That will surely do the trick! :thumbsup2

Angela, I think they also have TOT at DTD (DowntownDisney) on the 31st just in case you are still around after the cruise.

One more day and we should know our fuel surcharge fate!

I'm shakin' em H. Although, Irish tradition states it only works on the stroke of 12 on New Years Eve. But what the heck...it can't hurt, right? :cool1:

Good morning everyone! I'm going in a little late today since my camera is scheduled for delivery. UPS always comes mid morning so I should be good to go in an hour or so. I just went on the UPS website and it is on the truck and out for delivery.
