Woo hoo!!:cool1::thumbsup2:banana:

I just looked at my total posts and man, I am a big chatter!! I have 561 posts in only 3 months! Yikes! And most of those posts are on the BoB threads!

Well - I hate to "googley" and run, but I want to finish some of these FE things tonight.

May check in from Iphone before bed!

Congrats. I'll help you run to the next one if you have a couple hours. :rotfl:

I know! Karen and Heather and going to be thrilled when they get up in the morning!! Lots and lots of posts! Keep them busy for hours!:lmao:

Busy night here! We must all be getting excited - or perhaps with the reappearance of Jeff after missing for a while, we got inspired to chitty-chat.

Or the 50 posts I put up last night just added to the counts. :rolleyes1

Actually, if people are here and start talking, it really takes off. There were times (about now through the cruise during the KK thread) where we'd pull off 1,000 posts about every 2-3 days. That was sizzling.

There are still a few that use to be regulars that don't seem to post much of late. If everyone showed up, you'd have a lot to read.

I'm sitting here listening the DisRadio (just discovered it and LOVE it!!) and working on my FE gifts... so much FUN!!!! Dave wants me to finish because I've got a mess everywhere, but I know he loves watching me have so much fun.

I was talking about DisRadio a few weeks ago. I was listening to it while doing my audit work. Kept me going knowing once the audit was done, it was downhill til the cruise.

Only beef with it is the updates they have. Not a problem with them doing their plug, but they are from 6/8 and 6/22. Come on people, how about something more relavent?

Jealous of all you who have kids who started school - we still have 3 weeks from yesterday (the day after labor day). YUCK!!!

It is good now, but I'm concerned about the end of the school year. DS gets out on May 27th. That is the Thursday before Memorial Day. It is possible that we will have 3 weeks before summer camp starts.

I think of my posts, 4,000+ were on the KK thread. I would have to say more than double that is over here on the BOB threads. Maybe even more.

Very easy to have them add up when you get chatty with a group.

That is what I really DON'T like about our schools - the last day of school this year is June 18th! The kids are so ready for school to be out by then, it's not even funny - and my kids (nerds that they are) are ready to go back to school now.

Oh well - the schools are really good except for that - and it has to do with some old Virginia law that says us in the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas can't start until after labor day so that the amusment parks/colonial Williamsburg/VA Beach will have students to work until they close or slow for the season.

See - you keep SUCKING me back in!!!:surfweb::rotfl2:

I'm working late tonight. employee mtg right after work. (double-time so who can complain) today has been much busier than yesterday. I'm going through planning withdrawls. I can't think of anything else to plan for our trip. the waiting to start is killing me.

Hi Lori!!

Becca is still complaining about some pain, but I think it's where he did the shot... she hasn't mentioned the sealants bothering her yet.

Hi Angie. I'm glad they aren't bothering her. Julia hasn't said anything about them today.:thumbsup2

Don't forget the most important perk to your room - you are right across the hall from me!!!!

Yeppers!:goodvibes

Becca won't rotate until she gets to 4th grade where they go to a different math class based on whether it's advanced or not... but they do leave for "resource" (Library, Music, Art, Computer)

Abby is going to have so much to learn - went to Middle School orientation last night and learned about her "block" schedule. She should get the hang of it pretty quickly - I think it will take ME a while to figure it out!! :lmao:

Yes, the kids pick up block scheduling pretty easy. I still ask them when they get home, "What classes did you have today?" :rotfl:

My kids' last day is June 4. I wish it was before Memorial Day, but I can see where that is indeed an issue for y'all, Jeff.:headache:

The public schools around here aren't suppose to start until after Labor Day because of the tourist industry. They can start on Sept 1st though. Any earlier and they have to apply for a waiver.

DS is ready to go back to school though, so that's good.

Yet another change to our Jet Blue return flight. We leave Orlando at the same time - 3:46 on 11/2 - but instead of a 7:30 flight from JFK to Portland it's now a 10:30, arriving in Portland at midnight!!! That's the third change on that flight. Needless to say we are not very happy & will probably not fly JB again! Actually there's a new law that says they must offer a refund if you booked a non-stop & it gets changed but after looking at other airlines, we'd have to pay a lot more if we did that so for now we're still on the JB flights. Hope all this flight trouble isn't an omen for the cruise!! Chris, I hope your flights are still OK.

Guess you'll have to start planning for KK3/BOB2. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

The two counties close to the base are Stafford County and Prince William County. I think one starts next week and one starts after Labor Day. The schools on the base are DoD, not state public schools, so we have a slightly different schedule. Tricky for some of those who send some of their kids out in town for school.

Our schools got out June 22nd & are starting again on August 31st. Schools in Mass didn't get out til June 29th!! Too many snow days.

We'll just have to plan a trip for that week. Maybe drive out to DC (and the VA area). :rolleyes1

Although, DS would like to get to Boston and NYC. Maybe do both in one trip. :scratchin

Is there a better connecting flight you can get on? Is there any other hub you can go through?

Is the law a Federal one or a State one? I would think it would be Federal. Haven't heard of that one. Good to know.
