Our schools got out June 22nd & are starting again on August 31st. Schools in Mass didn't get out til June 29th!! Too many snow days.

N

He will have to go through 5/28 if they run out of snow days (I think 2 are built in). The other day they will pull will be Good Friday.

Don't know, I think there will be a LOT of Diet Coke drunk next year. But hey, there's always about 36% true Diet Pepsi drinkers - going to that number pretty quick. ;)

I am a diet pepsi drinker, but will do diet coke when pepsi is not available. I have to find a big insulated mug, lost mine on the taxi ride in St Thomas, One curve too quick!!

Good evening everyone. Plenty to read and respond to tonight!:thumbsup2
Lots of stairs..I do not like to wait for elelvators...No matter, because that kind of stuff usually doesn't happen to us. No biggie, though. I like our current stateroom location. ..right near the stairs midship.
I was happy with our assignment too. We are in an 11 on deck 7 between the forward and midship elevators. I am hoping for an upgrade though!

Usually upgrades follow a simple pattern. Insides to portholes, portholes to veradahs, but the Cat 5 and 6's get upgraded to cat 4 and cat 4 can get upgraded to cat 3. On the KK cruise we were upgraded 4 categories to a cat 5. I was thrilled. It was a good location too.

I'm pretty happy with our location, (it;s the same one that I picked out for the KK cruise but was upgraded out of.) But, I'll not whine if I get a verandah.
My dad is thinking of looking into paying for an upgrade. It all depends on where he ends up with his 12 GTY.
I tried doing stairs on the Repo, but my legs were killing me by about day 3 or 4. The elevators were not that bad though.

However, Deck 6 Mid-ship is ideal. In the SPH rooms, we're Deck 5 Forward Lifts. That is a great location too. The Forward elevators aren't that far from midship, but no one really uses them except when getting on/off the ship. On Deck 3, you have to go through Beat Street and people don't do that. Except for after a show in the theatre, they are usually quiet.
When we were on our first DCL cruise and in a SPH, I loved the convenience to the WD Theatre. Just up the stairs and we were "home".

Yet another change to our Jet Blue return flight. We leave Orlando at the same time - 3:46 on 11/2 - but instead of a 7:30 flight from JFK to Portland it's now a 10:30, arriving in Portland at midnight!!! That's the third change on that flight. Needless to say we are not very happy & will probably not fly JB again! Actually there's a new law that says they must offer a refund if you booked a non-stop & it gets changed but after looking at other airlines, we'd have to pay a lot more if we did that so for now we're still on the JB flights. Hope all this flight trouble isn't an omen for the cruise!! Chris, I hope your flights are still OK.

N
We had a small change on our return flight on AirTran today, but nothing from JetBlue. Our flight down is only about 40% full right now, so I am slightly nervous we will have a connection like you, but if we get flight times like your flights to Florida, I wouldn't mind.

I do keep checking though!

Guess you'll have to start planning for KK3/BOB2. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Don't think I haven't thought of it!

Actually, my friends at work want me to coordinate a cruise in 2011. They want a double dipper cruise. If there is a KK3/BOB2/???1 then I'm hoping that it's on the same week. I've got to wait until the itineraries come out before I can start to plan that one. I've been thinking a bit about the London trip. I need to start to plan that one. but London is such an unknown to me. I just bought a book "London... for Dummies." That ought to be a good start.

I'm working late tonight. employee mtg right after work. (double-time so who can complain) today has been much busier than yesterday. I'm going through planning withdrawls. I can't think of anything else to plan for our trip. the waiting to start is killing me.

I haven't even begun Steve...wanna do mine? :rotfl2:

You just need to pick Heather and Rick's brains the entire cruise. I'm sure they can let you in on all the goodies over there.:thumbsup2

Well, y'all, I'm off to actually speak to my husband for the first time today. Well not the first time, but the first time with no kids around.

G'night.:goodvibes

Good night all,

just did the one line check in, I am ready to go now!!!!

I enjoy Deck 2...I look at the stairs as my workout so I can have that second dessert or better yet...chicken fingers and those yummy fries :rotfl2:

Our next cruise will be on the new ship or on a whole different line. The new ship is only doing 3/4 night cruises, so we may do that at a different time.

Actually, I had planned to ditch the caribbean and do alaska next time but I'm getting a lot of people really wanting to do "Disney" so I relented.
