WOO HOO!!!

My work is done!

As I always make my kids say after playing a game (and no matter WHO wins..)

Good game! :-)

You swooped in and got the googley! Congrats!!!:dance3:

I am getting ready to go to lunch and am wasting time. :surfweb:

I just ordered our first Rewards Card! We had about 100 rewards, so that will definitely help with our shipboard expenses.

Mornin' all....

Just catching up, and then I need to put my nose to the grindstone here at work. I will be off 2 hours tomorrow for school registration, then Friday we'll be leaving for Minneapolis for a long weekend. We're meeting my brother, SIL, and niece at a hotel there - I haven't seen them in almost 4 years! My mom is going too, so it will be a nice little family reunion. My brother lives in North Dakota, so we don't get to see them much.

4 YEARS!!!!!!???????:scared1: That is crazy! I don't like it when I don't get to see my sister at least every 4 weeks! How old is your niece? I bet they are excited to see Thomas too.

I don't know how they've changed the shuffle since Stuart and Leah had one but neither they or I liked it much. No easy way to pick the music out that you want to hear. Stuart was constantly asking me to find a particular song and I would have to click through 50 songs to get to the one he wanted. Smaller capacity is nice on the shuffle because you really don't want too many songs on it for the aformentioned problem. Stuart has the nano now and really likes it. I also put cartoons and they three stooges on it and he'll watch them constantly. Leah has my old iPod (I have both the iPhone and the iTouch, I know, I'm a massive geek) It's big for her and so she really only uses it when we're driving.

I was going to say the same thing about finding the songs.:headache: It can be frustrating. And being able to put videos on the nano is the bomb!

:banana::banana:First Day of School!!:banana::banana:

Here is Emily with her friend, Reilly. Reilly has spent the last week with us; she returns to her home in Gulf Breeze, FL, today. She is one of Emily's best friends and we will all miss her.

Here is Derek, my 8th grader.

And Alex, the 4th grader.

Wow Paige. You're kids are just too cute. Derek looks like a long stringbean!

Well - we are done at the dentist and Becca did AMAZING!!! No nitrous gas needed. They did her sealants on 3 of the teeth without a cavity as well. It was funny on the drive over, she was just asking "didn't we just GO to the dentist? Why do we need to go again?" Me being the "bad mommy" didn't tell her why (anticipation of bad stuff is WORSE for her).

She did amazing!! I'm so proud of her! Got a shot and everything.

Abby had to get a chip in her front tooth fixed (a kid in second grade kicked her in the face and got a small chip... since braces are coming soon, wanted to get it fixed before those went on).

I'm glad the girls did well. I hate the dentist and don't want my kids to grow up to feel that way too.

Good morning everyone,

Paige, your kids are very cute.

Can someone send me the updated tag spreadsheet (GSTROOP?). I bought a bunch of gifts yesterday and want to see if I'm good.

Regarding the FE, how wide should they be? Mine seem too large right now.

Well off to use our new Wii fit. Still trying to learn how to use it.

Yep. Don;t know if you remember Dave and Bev from KK1. They're on it at the moment and were really looking forward to Tortola. They are also staying on, on Saturday, doing B2B. Unfortunately they will now do the same ports as this week.:sad1:

That is a bummer! Although, it can only be so bad being on the Magic.;):thumbsup2

My niece turned 4 in April....the last time I saw her was at her baptism. My SIL is Thomas's godmother, and I am godmother to my niece.

We're all so excited to see each other! I am sure none of us will want to go home on Sunday.

I just ordered our first Rewards Card! We had about 100 rewards, so that will definitely help with our shipboard expenses.

I did this yesterday - only transfered some of the points so I can make one more transfer before we cruise. We've been using the card for gas, etc. so we've racked up some points too!

Between OBC and Disney points, we have our excursions paid for!

IS IT EASY TO DOWNLOAD VIDEO ETC??? - I'm totally useless at stuff like that:rolleyes1 Where do you download from?:confused3 what software etc do you need?

it's very easy if you do it with iTunes.

YOu just had to post that, didn't you Steve!!! ;) Now I'm looking at a refurbished iPod Touch!!!

I love my iTouch. More so than the iPhone, it is a marvel of engineering.

BTW Steve....since I will have to wait 6 hours to ask my (also geeky) husband...

Is there a big difference between the 1st gen itouch and the current generation?

1st gen has no external speakers, you need headphones with it. I beleive that 2nd gen also has an external switch for volume control. softwarewise they are identical

Nice. With all the repairs to the Explorer, I'm racking up quite a few Disney$$ myself.

This was from another thread

We're on the Magic right now too. So far, this Mystery Cruise thing is great. It almost makes me want to book one on purpose. Castaway Cay was simply gorgeous today. What a beautiful day. Hopefully the rest of the week is just as nice.

I agree that the excusion desk was a total mess yesterday. Thankfully, my DH was able to pop online (while at lunch right after we boarded) and book excursions privately at both Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

I have to laugh at the people who were actually pissed at the itinerary change. I unerstand that we've had the privilledge of cruising both itineraries before (although, never to Tortola) and I understand a certain amout of disappointment...but I don't get anger (which I did not witness but was told about by a few cast members who were very thankful that we were so relaxed about the change in plans). When we book a cruise in August, our mental state is that we want to get on the ship and we understand that where we go could be altered by the weather. Seriously, do you WANT to go right into a hurricane? How fun would it be to make our stops and be in pouring rain? Personally, I think DCL did a brilliant job making sure we got in one good day at Castaway Cay by stoping there first. Heck, we may even get a double dip out of this. As far as I am concerned, if I am lucky enough to be able to take my family on a cruise, I'm not going to let a swap of ports updry me too much.

One other note...nursery booking has been completely overhauled. The nursery is no longer closed for a break mid day and you can now prebook 18 hrs. They did not have it set for the prebook of 18 hrs for our cruise since this is the first cruise with the switch, but when I went to get on the waitlist for additional hours, I was allowed to add them right away (up to 18..which was plenty). Also, the nursery was open the first night.

I think we will have a few hundred for our OBC and rewards as well. That should be a huge help!

:rotfl2: Go on - treat yourself;)

Oh how awful:sad2: - what a shame they'll be visiting the same places:sad2:

we sold it so we could purchase our new underwater camera (got the same kind that Karen suggested...same model since I liked your pics!)

Itunes is GREAT and really user friendly. the only problem we have is that we have too many computers in our house and syncing up our libraries is hard! But it's really an easy user friendly program!

Hope you like the camera:thumbsup2

We only have one pc and one lappy so hopefully we wont encounter that :confused3 - technology and I are not best buddies. My patience wears thin pretty wuickly and I start banging keyboard buttons when nothing happens:rolleyes1:lmao:

it's very easy if you do it with iTunes.

Hmmmm, easy for you to say Steve:rotfl2:, I bet I'll be on here ranting that its too hard:rotfl: - at least I have a techno whizkid to help me right Steve?:thumbsup2;)

I love my iTouch. More so than the iPhone, it is a marvel of engineering.

ITunes is an excellent tool to upload your music. You can't share music though, which is a bit annoying.

Oh my dear brother I am here.. I skim most nights.. too tired to post..lol and we are no longer suppose to surf at work so no way of catching up there..lol I have finished finding my pirate outfit tho :goodvibes ordered mine and my daughters now we need to find Sean's

Dis tag gifts are completed mostly and thanks to the all mighty and powerful Cass my shirts and magnets are done.. have I mentioned how freaking awesome that chick is???? :worship:

happy to see you're ok kiddo.:grouphug:
i'll let dad know.:thumbsup2
