I make no promises of statements until the 15th. I usually will cycle them out around the 10th though. Just too much stuff that has to be sent down from my districts. We have 12 statewide, plus our local office, two other smaller reporting segments and then the statewide statements. So about 16 statements a month I have to do.

Before working at the law firm I work at now, I was with 2 smaller companies and it didn't matter when financials went out - before that I was with a HUGE title company (now bankrupt) and we had to close within 5 days.

I like having a deadline - makes it easier knowing what I have to do and when. We have 15 offices worldwide (give or take) and our software is really cool - specific to Law firms and the reports all come out on a server and the people who need it access it themselves. Love it!!

It's slow.... but I don't have anything to say!!

Oh - I remembered something.... I can't remember if I posted this here or not, but when I was in Chicago for the Pampered Chef convention, I won a laptop in a drawing (only 3 given away and 3000 consultants were there). They told me I would hear something in 4 to 6 weeks and on Friday, FedEx came to the door and delivered it!!

It's SOOOOOO pretty!! It has Vista, which I am not crazy about, but I'm a computer geek, so I am getting used to it and it's not TOOOOO bad. It's a pretty Dell....and they also included Microsoft Office 2007 - YAY (Sorry, I'm a nerdy accountant and I LOVE me some Excel!!)

Wow, that's pretty nice. Congrats.

We're looking at a new laptop, but on the advice of a friend ;), I will (and can) wait until fall when Win 7 is automatic on the systems so I don't have to deal with Vista.

I was reading a trippie and found this pic and since everyone was talking about how far the tram was from the ship in St Thomas, I thought I would post it for you....

It was taken from the ship and the buildings you see is Havensight Mall Duty Free shops and in the background you can see the tram going up the side of the mountain :thumbsup2

Hey, I just noticed I have to get a poem ready for myself.

Think I can just pass the one I did for Joanne off as mine and Karen will let me slide? :rolleyes1

That looks like an 1/8 to 1/4 mile tops. Very doable walking I would say.

Evening Cass

Thanks for the picture...we are booked for the tram :thumbsup2

I just need a real vacation now, not just around the house (although I will be taking DS to the Dells on Monday).

Me too!! NO Dells for us this year, maybe next year. We stayed at the Kalahari last summer for two nights and had a blast. Hoping to try the Wilderness next.

With the prices in the Dells..we almost could go on a 4 day cruise...lol

Evening Lisa :wave2:

We did the tram on our very first cruise and it was cool :goodvibes

We want to do the tram... but didn't get excursion tickets for it - just in case we get back from Trunk Beach a little later than anticipated....

Hope to be able to see it though!

Angie- do you make the avatar sign? It is cool!!

Nope - can't take credit for that.... someone fabulous over at the Creative DiSigns thread made it. Her username is Ohana 90 - she has a thread exclusively for the Stick Figure People!! Soooooo cute!!

I have some other requests too, but they are from really popular dissigners, so I don't expect to get those for a couple weeks or so.

Ok - no spoilers, but I just have to say that there are some people in the US Big Brother house that are the BIGGEST whiney babies I have ever seen!! These people take a game so seriously - it's just bizarre!!!!:confused3

I might have to put my request in for that sign. I think it is so cute!!

I bought PhotoShop and thought it would be easy to make a sign, but so far not so good. I am so computer challenged :rotfl:

A week? I'll take a long, 4 day weekend. Can you get to DL easily? If so, at least you can satisfy your Disney needs that way.
The trans-continental airfare would just be a little pricey, but I have always wanted to visit DL.

I do not watch the show, but I heard it has been an annoying season.
