Great pics Karen, glad you enjoyed Paphos.

We came back on Wednesday from Stratford and went to the Black Country Living Musem - it was really good. Sean went down the mine but Olivia and i were too scared so we went to the school and had a lesson there:thumbsup2

Will post pics later.

Morning...oops No...Afternoon all.

Super quiet night!!!! Karen and Heather are going to chastise us!!!

I'm playing around with some DisSigns and trying to make some signs for our door. Getting so excited!!

Some of my supplies came in today for my DisTag - hope to get started on them this weekend! Woo hoo!!!!

Well - I'm off to bed!

Not me Angie...I was late on today. DIStag gifts.....:banana::woohoo:

While we were there Ellis had a mini scuba diving lesson

Wish I could do this, but as I'm asthmatic and alergic to all kinds of things like dogs hair, cats fur, pollen, etc. etc. I can't do it, Even the bubble head thingy.

We are aiming to pack light this time as we'll have laundry facilities at the villa, so hopefully just 2 cases, 1 small case, 2 hand luggage and a rolling cooler:rolleyes1

Check the luggage allowances Karen. The airlines have changed them:mad:

Email us your itinary when its sorted and we can try and meet up before if you have the time.:thumbsup2

Our schedule isnt so tight as at christmas. No Disney or Universal parks for us this time. We have a 7 day Busch and Seaworld ticket, malls and outlets for shopping (of course!), DTD (for more shopping), still haven't decided if we're doing MNSSHP yet, but if I know where you're all meeting then we may pop in if we have time.

You not meeting up with Brenda at Food and Wine?

We're looking at maybe the Caribean next summer or maybe a cheaper cruise. Gotta wait to see the £££ situation first, plus I have never researched carib or other cruise companies so that may take a while!

There are some crazy prices at the moment. Got one yesterday about Disney Europe cruises in 2010, kids upto 17 go free on selected trips.

Hey, it hit 1.70:1 the other day. I think it is down to 1.66 now.

Who knows what direction it will go.

Yep...only briefly though. Then it dropped like a stone.

Glad you liked it - we havent been for a couple of years.

He's got the whole weekend. Don't let him down till he finds them:rotfl:

My thoughts exactly:lmao: - I 'll throw a sandwich up to him every few hours to keep his energy levels up:thumbsup2:rotfl:

Wish I could do this, but as I'm asthmatic and alergic to all kinds of things like dogs hair, cats fur, pollen, etc. etc. I can't do it, Even the bubble head thingy.

I cant even put my head in the water:rolleyes1

Those water pictures were great, Karen.

Thanks - I'm pleased - only a cheapy but it works well.

Check the luggage allowances Karen. The airlines have changed them:mad:

That should be ok between the 3 of us shouldnt it?

You not meeting up with Brenda at Food and Wine?

There are nuts at the food and wine:sad2: We spotted them last time and had to avoid wuitea few stalls. We arent doing Disney at all this time round.

Tell me more! I found a week stay on I Drive plus one week eastern carib in Oct 2010 for £1100 each - I thought that was good:thumbsup2

Great pictures, That pool looks amazing.

Thanks it was nice. There was another big rectangular pool and an indoor, but we prefered the windy one. We never even saw the gym, sauna or jacuzzi:rotfl:

Forgot to mention - our landing back into Manchester was quite interesting:scared1:

We were almost on touchdown when the captain pulled up sharply and we started to climb VERY quickly and steeply:scared1:

After a while we banked really sharply.... once we'd levelled out the captain came on the tannoy to explain - there was an emergency services helicopter that needed our air space suddenly so he'd been asked to abort his landing at the last minute. I hope whoever they were saving made it ok. I always think of Ellis in times like that and pray they pulled through and survived whatever the emergency was.

Well, we didnt make it to the zoo.

Ellis spilt a whole pint of chocolate milk over yet another one of our cream carpets:rolleyes:

By the time I'd "rescued" the carpet it was too late to go.

Kids,.... gotta luv 'em or you'd kill 'em:rolleyes:

I'll probably go to Tesco and do the big shop instead:rolleyes:

Not my idea of a great day out:rolleyes:

We're starting to go out more in the US with L now. He's older and can appreciate it more. Not sure how far we'll venture into the world though. I'm sure we'll get to Europe soon (UK at least ;) ). Not sure if I want to go to the Middle East.

As for cost, anything outisde of the US is expensive (except Mexico and the Caribbean). It is an arm and a leg everytime I look at price to England. Only time that is cheap is the middle of winter.

that's why we're going for New Years. It was crazy cheap. BUT! I fear that I'm going to go broke trying to eat!

Once I'm packed for October I'll start getting brochures for next summer 2010.

I cant possibly come back after the cruise with nothing else booked. It would be just too awful!

Get researching your UK visit:thumbsup2.... free accom here anytime:goodvibes

I'm with you there. I'll be rebooking onboard. No Disney countdown ticker is a fate too unimaginable!

Hey, it hit 1.70:1 the other day. I think it is down to 1.66 now.

I hate to be wishing against my UK friends, but, I am hoping the dollar gets a bit stronger. I don't want to go broke this winter.

Good morning everyone. Kind of a busy day for us today, but I'll probably still DIS when I can. I have some paper pushing to do, and then a luncheon with legislators. After lunch, Elaine has to go to New Jersey for the evening, and won't be home until later this evening.

She may be lurking today, so I will give a shout out and say,

Happy Birthday Tracy!!!

My little sister turns 24 today. I can't believe it. I remember the day she was born very clearly. Where does the time go?!?!?!
:lmao: Half the laundry is done. The beachy stuff and shorts etc will go straight into a case:thumbsup2

Its coming round real quick:woohoo:

We are aiming to pack light this time as we'll have laundry facilities at the villa, so hopefully just 2 cases, 1 small case, 2 hand luggage and a rolling cooler:rolleyes1
Thats what Elaine will do. I don't think we will have any company in September and October so she will just take over the spare bedroom and lay out all of the suitcases. Probably after Labor Day, she will pack our shorts, swimsuits, etc into our suitcases. I imagine she will start in a few weeks getting things sorted out. Summer ends kind of abruptly here in New England.
