I won't have time for the upkeep. Most threads close in about 4 weeks, so I would miss about 1/2 of the thread.

Hi and bye guys. I was posting at McDonalds on my iPhone. Now I'm back home and it's late. West Coast is pretty nice last few days. Global Cooling has our temps very low. I'm used to sweating around my birthday!

Although, an "I'm With B.O.B." user ID that a few of us have the password for would be a great way for several people to maintain the first post.

Well, For you Star Wars buffs out there, I have to tell you, I've got the best Birthday Party planned for Stuart. I decided to rip off Disney. I holding a Jedi Training Academy. We got ahold of some cheap Lightsabers for $2.50/apeice and Laura made these great Jedi robes out of spare peices of fabric bought at the local stores.

I rented a Darth Vader Costume and I found this great Darth Vader Soundboard on the internet.

So, I'll be the Jedi Master teaching the padiwans and I'll have one brother dress as the evil one while the other operates the soundboard. I'm almost more excited about this party than Stuart is! I'll post some video from it on Sunday.

In a related vein, I just saw "Fanboys" That was a fun movie. I usually don't particularly care for these parody movies as they often resort to being crass rather than clever. And this one on occasions does do that. But more often than not it is very clever.

It's about a group of young men that find that one of their number is dying of Cancer. They then decide to take him on a cross country drive to break into Skywalker Ranch in order to view the pre-release cut of Star Wars Episode 1.

It was somewhat reminescent of the movie "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" a 1985 movie by Robert Zemeckis that tells the story of a group of teens that try to see the first US performance of the Beatles. It also reminded me a bit of "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back." except not nearly as crass.

The "inside" Jokes about Star Wars and Star Trek were delightful. Especially the way they played on the schizm between the two Sci Fi camps. Pure Genius. There were great Cameos. Billy Dee Williams, Carrie Fisher, Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith and none other than William Shatner.

If it keeps up in these temp ranges, I should have a low electric bill YAY! Haven't gotten any rain yet but today the clouds looked pretty heavy. That's one thing that I don't want. Unseasonal rain will really muck up a crop!
