I was just looking at pictures of PO-R. It looks like a really nice place. I am hoping it makes enough of an impression on Elaine that she will want to stay there on our next trip to WDW.

VBS is almost over. In a little while...30-40 minutes I will probably be loading up the van to take the kiddo's home.

Hiya Jeff!! Long time no see!!!

Just a quick note. Walt and I are having a fantastic time here in Colorado. We have been to Mesa Verde. amazing. We went riding today in the amazing rock formations. wow. I felt like I was a midget. We had all kinds of weather today. cold, little cold, warm, little warm, rain, hail, sleet back to warm to cold then to rain and sleet. Weird weather here but Walt and I are really enjoying the ride and the USA. It has been lots of fun so far. Time for bed since I need to get up early to go ride the train from Durango to Silverton. It sounds like it will be alot of fun. talk to you all later. Diane

Good Morning Everyone! We're off to Calgary for the weekend ... about a three hour drive so not too bad. Ron is meeting with some clients and hopefully we will sign another one, maybe two houses to build. Would appreciate any prayers for this. We've been steady, but really need another house or two in the near future.

We're also getting together with my family as today is my Mom's 60th Birthday Happy Birthday Mom (just in case she is lurking our there ... my parents have just started to tune into the DIS for our trip. I'm very glad that they are cruising with us!!!)

Safe Trip to Calgary, Dianne!!! And I pray you get a new house to build!! I guess times are tough even up in Canada, eh?

its very nice there. we stayed there once. Cassie was sick 2 of those 3 days though.

I've been looking at various Mods for when we take a WDW trip...you'll have to let me know how you like it.

The only thing I don't like about the mods is double beds instead of queen....

It's raining pretty steady here. I hope its decent this weekend. I would like to go check out that B-17 in Hartford tomorrow, or do something all together as a family.

Ooh Chris! You will love PO-R. That is where Dave and I stayed when we were on our Honeymoon almost 15 years ago - back when it was call "Dixie Landings". Very Antebellum/southern plantation.

I really thought about doing the MNSSHP, but that will just make our drive back to Virginia really long on Sunday... :-(

Yeah I have always been curious about the mods as well. We have always stayed in a value, but I really like the theming at Port Orleans Riverside. The price difference over the value for the one night was only $22 so I decided to go with the mod. I figure since we are there for a good part of the day, we will have a nice pool, water sports (I might rent a boat), and we will probably take the boat to DTD for lunch. I am thinking T-Rex or Rain Forest Cafe. The CM I talked to said I could make ADR's tomorrow, so I might make that choice even this evening.

If we stayed a week, which is what we are planning for our next trip, I would really like to stay somewhere other than a value, so this will wet our appetite a little bit. I have a feeling Elaine will like it and think it is worth the extra $$. If not, then back to the All Stars we will go. I could be kicking and screaming though!!!
