:scared1::scared1: How did it turn out.

Well ... not too bad ... my table could now be used for communion as it is on the 'holy' side. :rotfl2: :lmao: She's a lucky girl as Ron is building (or lovingly crafting) us a new dining room table. If she had stapled that one he would not have been very happy. I'm recommending that he finish it with a 'distressed' look. It will work more for our dd that way. She loves to do crafts and our table bears the brunt of it. Our table cloth didn't survive the stapling well though.

Quick post - asking for prayers and hugs for my brother and his wife. My SIL just delivered their twin (Marlee and Merrick) this morning around 2 am. They were only at 24 weeks gestation (She was due November 8th). They are 1 1/2 pounds each and fighting like crazy.

My brother is in Iraq now and the Red Cross is going to try to get him home asap to be with his wife. I don't have a lot of details as this has only been happening for past 7 hours.

SIL (Natalie) is surrounded by her family (mom and dad) and we are thankful for that. All prayers and hugs are appreciated. Thanks so much.

I'll be praying for them. I have twin cousins that were born at 27 weeks. It was a rough start but they are now 22, healthy and extremely tall.

Can anyone talk me out of getting this?

Robin, there are 6 others! One more fuzzy one then the rest are short hair.

Soooo cute! How much would they shed with all that fluff? Could be worth it ;)

Our family of four will be on the Oct 24 Magic for our 3rd Disney cruise and we are very excited. My daughters (8 & 13) are interested in finding others girls their age before and during the trip. So, are there any girls entering the 3rd or 8th grades that will be on this trip?

Thanks!
Tamie:

:welcome: Hi Tamie! We've got a daughter that will be 8 and is going into grade three this fall. She is enjoying e-mailing Chris' daughter and I'm sure would like to meet another friend before the cruise.

You're going really early. Aren't they due in a little before 9:00 CDT?

We had to drop off Tony's jeep at his house before heading to the airport and the flight was changed to arrive at 8:37 instead of 9:05. Once we got there it was only an hour to wait. Besides that humungous Air Bus was at Mitchell. It was absolutely enormous!!:woohoo:

Hi all,

Looks like I can't dis any more from the office. They did some major network changes this week end. We could not even log on until after lunch, have not recieved any emails since friday and we can't print. Why do they do this &^( at month end?????

Now I get to move all this home this week, so I am sure I will be down another day!!

If you're moving all your stuff home, can't you DIS from there?

Quick update on my niece and nephew.... Merrick (the boy) started breathing on his own and Marlee (the girl) is not far behind. THey are AMAZING!!!! I have been calling them the Wonder Twins and apparently the name is sticking with them.

Thanks so much for your prayers and hugs - keep them coming (sorry I'm being so greedy!)

:angel::yay::angel::yay:

Today a friend and I are going to another little mall - pedometer is waiting!

I have to do 10,700 steps to earn 1.5 points. :yay:

My new stepometer came in the mail yesterday. I just love it! It's so accurate not like some of the other's I've had. I slid it on last night when I got home from work and clocked 2900 steps just walking around the house and through an airport. :dance3: It automatically resets itself at midnight each night and at the end of 7 days you can see your weekly total. :woohoo:

Just jump right in we are a fun an crazy group right guys?

Dan

Right Dan! We are a crazy bunch!:scared::woohoo:

:yay:Welcome to Tamie and Ron from Kansas along with the kiddos Melissa and Megan. :yay:

Wow are you all a lively group! It's going to take me several weeks to catch up on all these notes! :coffee:

Our family just booked for this cruise and we'd like to get connected:

Russell, Alysoun (me), DD (7), DS (4)

Please let me know the best approach.....

Thanks! Can't wait!
:yay:

Hi Alysoun! party: Welcome aboard! I'm Dianne and I'll be traveling with my dear husband Ron, DD (8), DS (10) and my parents. It's a friendly bunch here.

Good Morning Nancy! I'm up waaayyy too early so thought I would take the chance to try and get caught up :surfweb: I'm still many threads back.

Don't mind him... he's a goofball. :rotfl2:

(Just read back a few pages, you'll find the post.)

In case you don't know, I'm his "better half". :)

Look forward to seeing you on here more often. :thumbsup2

Hi Robin! I'm thinking that one of these days someone is going to leave a puppy on your doorstep :rotfl: Any particular variety you prefer? I'm still picking out my tag gifts

DISCLAIMER: Just my own opinion follows, and my husband would have my head if I didn't clarify that I am a Marine Corps wife....:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I just started watching it in the last couple of weeks. The really dramatic stuff (giving birth on a pool table, a bomb in the bar, etc) is not real obviously. Some things do strike a chord with me though. In some instances, they get the essence of the military family(just my opinion though) , like when the kids ask if daddy is going to die, why is he always leaving, teen who is angry about moving, etc.

Oh, and yeah, I'm with Joanne on the sitting around--except in Okinawa...man did we sit around have some drinks (coffee in the morning, spiked coffee in the afternoon, and wine in the evening--not all in one day) and "hold court." Good times.:rotfl:

Edited: Every military wife I know is always in full makeup in bed. And we all wear sexy nightgowns. Right Joanne?! That's comedy right there!

Right, they need to show how you pack up every three years and always lose and break stuff. Saying good bye to good friends- watching your kids say good bye to good friends. Surviving earthquakes , hurricanes and typhoons!!!! Don't get me wrong I enjoyed most of it, but they really make it look glamorous.

Mother G are you swearing at me?....:snooty:

Good morning everyone! Day 2 of VBS coming up. A couple of the kids drove me absolutely insane in the van yesterday, so I am hoping for a better ride today. Also, getting around in our city has been crazy as our utility company loves to tear up streets all over the place. Maybe I will have to go to the beach again this evening to unwind.

Last night at dinner me and the kids were talking about the cruise. I did a google image search and showed them Trunk Bay which they loved. My DS then came out and said, "I wish Castaway Cay had a dock that we could jump off of" They have gone swimming in lakes here and jump in the water off docks. DD concurred and wanted a dock as well, so I told them they have one. Well they didn't believe me because they "don't remember" it last time, so I did another google image search and showed them the play structure on the family beach.
What about the links Chris?
I keep forgetting to fix those. I will get them worked out either today or tomorrow.

Way to go Nancy! - 10,000 is the recomended daily amount. I'm up to 5,500 so far today. I'm off to the park later to do a few laps to get up to 10,000:thumbsup2

I took the dog for a walk and clocked 4653 steps on my pedometer!

Half way to a perfect total today Nancy:thumbsup2

A subtle hint for those going to MNSSHP before the cruise - please DO NOT buy the Events music cd:rolleyes1;)

Ok, I'll then pretend I have no idea what you're giving out:rolleyes1

Sounds like a great plan:thumbsup2

:rotfl2:Are we sisters?:rotfl2:

Yes!

We can save each other:rotfl:

:rotfl:

:yay::woohoo::yay::woohoo:

You're right - I was just busy having myself a pity party yesterday:rotfl:

I did my 11,200 steps yesterday and kept to my points, so hopefully I'll get rid of 1lb next week.:thumbsup2

TART:snooty:

Fab news:yay: - more prayers on the way

Yeah, yeah, blame the Brits:rolleyes::rotfl:

Stop fishing for compliments you two,... ya know we all luv ya:rotfl2:

Welcome! - I have a son who is 8 Ellis - they'll be in the same clubs:thumbsup2

Good, didnt like him:thumbsup2. Put something else up instead - you're looking rather naked without an avatar:eek: I liked the swiper one best:thumbsup2

:goodvibes

Taking Ellis to the church club again today. He used to go there weekly when he was younger, but we had to stop as it clashed with karate. They are running a summer camp this week 10-12 each day.:thumbsup2

That means I get two hours to get some walking done:yay:

Yesterday I killed two birds with one stone and did the local shopping mall in record speed, zooming in and out of shops I clocked up 5,500 steps before I had to collect him:rotfl:

How much is a glass of wine worth?:goodvibes
