Welcome to Marlee and Merrick! :love:We'll say a few prayers for the entire gstroop28 family Angie.

Good job Karen.

Sorry to hear this Chris and Lori. Enjoy your back to back though. :cutie:

Lori...DO IT! Get the puppy. :dogdance: Don't listen to that man behind the curtain!! Get the poochie!

So many different opinions. And everyone has such good points.

Ok, so since this is our first time to mnsshp does anyone have any good advice on what to do first? Anything we just have to see? What to avoid?

You HAVE to have a good seat for the parade. It is wonderful. As well are the fireworks. I just love looking at all the decorations. And plus all the rides are pretty much walk on. We stayed on splash mountain for 3 rounds because there was noone in line!

Hi all,

I am not sure how this works but I can tell you that I have a 7 year old son and thought it would be nice to sit with another family with a child his age. Anyone?? Anyone?? We haven't booked any reservations yet because we have to wait a couple of weeks.

Gina

Hi Gina!

I can't help much with dinner seating - my in-laws are going to be with us so I think we will have a full table, but we will have try and find each other the first day and introduce our sons - my DS will be 6 1/2 by cruise time.

So far we're planning to take DS on the Afternoon Beach bash in St. Maarten and the Doubloon Sail and Snorkel in St. Thomas. We're also doing the 11:00 Stingrays on CC.

With the help from our yongest son we got all three AC in today Yes Mrs L we are going to have some Fla heat and muggys this week. Weather man says 85 to 90 all week and humid. I guess we shouldn't complain we have been waiting for it.

Hi Nancy :wave2:

You're gonna love MNSSHP no matter what:thumbsup2

Here's some tips for those of you who have never gone....

-Get there as early as 4pm, use the entrance at the very far right. Make sure they give you your wrist band and trick-or-treat bag!

-Between 5pm and 7pm is the best time to do the rides as most people are leaving the park!

-If you think you will be there until the end of the party, do the second parade as it is less busy. During the first parade, do the rides as everyone is at the parade.

-If you are watching the first parade, make sure you claim your spot about an hour before the parade!

-Watch the fireworks near the hub/tommorowland entrance to get a good view of the witch flying down from the castle! (The witch takes Tink's place during mnsshp)

-Check out the storefront windows along Main Street, they are decorated for Halloween!

-Make sure to ride Haunted Mansion, it is a totally different atmosphere there during the party.

-You can only buy the mnnshp merchandise (pins, t-shirts, music) during mnsshp party hours, so if you want something party specific, check the stores after 7pm.

-If you want to see characters, there's tons in Tomorrowland (near Carousel of Progress usually) and Fantasyland! Some are only ever seen during the party!

-Don't waste your time getting your fortune told, it's cheesy and the lines can take forever!

-If you want lots of candy, stop by the treat stations near the end of the night, they usually give out handfulls then!

-Make sure to enjoy the atmosphere on Main Street USA and the entrance area, especially if you got there at 4pm when the Halloween decorations weren't all up!

That's all I can think of right now :teeth:

Time for lunch :)

Copy and pasted to word for a printout to read again later. Thanks Cass!:goodvibes

So glad that weather isn't coming our way. :scared1:

Yeah, I got an email saying that I have to fill out a form to get approved. I've never had that happen before, so I want to make sure that Rose has it set up that way and it's not something with a virus attached.....It's probably legit, I just want to make sure. I have too much to lose on this computer.:thumbsup2

My email is set up so that I don't get unwanted mail in my inbox, anyone not on my list gets sent to my suspect mail first. (which I also browse through every day too)

Sorry.

I have a fear this could turn out like school when your stood against the wall waiting to get picked and nobody picks me.....:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

We can be on the same team Chris...the Donkey Team (Pick Me! Pick Me!)

They are in WV. My mom had gone to a yard sale at my cousins house and she has 7 to get rid of. My mom called me and said we just had to get the fuzzy one. Julia has been begging us for a puppy. Even writing us notes, as well as she can spell out things.

That is tooooo funny!!! We can't handle having a dog right now, but those puppies are just too precious!

By the way...for anyone making t-shirts....

Our Michael's is advertising 5 for $10 t-shirts - awesome price! I am going to go get some this week just because you can't buy regular t-shirts that price! It's for adult and kids' sizes.

No need to be sorry. I'm glad it was legit.:thumbsup2

Quick post - asking for prayers and hugs for my brother and his wife. My SIL just delivered their twin (Marlee and Merrick) this morning around 2 am. They were only at 24 weeks gestation (She was due November 8th). They are 1 1/2 pounds each and fighting like crazy.

My brother is in Iraq now and the Red Cross is going to try to get him home asap to be with his wife. I don't have a lot of details as this has only been happening for past 7 hours.

SIL (Natalie) is surrounded by her family (mom and dad) and we are thankful for that. All prayers and hugs are appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hey all, guess we have to pull the pin on this cruise date. We are having too many "issues" with my Father and no one in the area that can take over when we are away. I realize we are still 3 months away, but it is better to accpet the inevitable (SP) now then a few days before the ship sails. We are cruising again in Feb, so we may just move this booking, as it is paid in full, to make it a back to back.
Good luck, have fun and have a fruity one in my honor!!!!:thumbsup2

So sorry to hear that:hug:

Can anyone talk me out of getting this?

Robin, there are 6 others! One more fuzzy one then the rest are short hair.

O, so cute. I don't think I could talk you out of that.

But wow, that last photo, it almost became indecent:scared1:
I'd watch out for that little pup. Must be a boy doggie:rotfl:

anyone have lori's phone number?
i've been sitting here in WV for nearly an hour waiting on her to deliver that poochie, but she's nowhere to be found.:confused3;););)

Tony and Stacy checking in from HOT HOT HOT Las Vegas! Today is our last day here and we'll be heading home this afternoon.

We saw Cirque (KA) and the Blue Man Group while we were here. We liked both but Cirque was better. Our basketball team lost in the finals on Friday so we've been just hanging around the casinos all weekend.

I hope everyone got what they wanted on Saturday night for excursions and stuff. I realized that the one excursion I wanted to do and surprise my parents with was canceled.

Talk later everyone.
Tony

Hi Tony:wave2:
Glad you finally made it and are having a great time.
I've loved the 3 Cirque shows I've seen and my son says Blue Man Group is the best show he's ever seen.
Sorry about your team though.

Hey Gina, Our DS is 7. While our table is rather full, we are planning on linking so we are in the same vicinity as other BOBers on the early rotation.
