The Red Cross is usually pretty good about these types of situations, so hopefully he'll be home sooner rather than later.

Thanks so much Paige. He's frustrated right now because they couldn't find some paperwork or something or other.... Hopefully he will be on next plane out of there. He's in Baghdad, so at least he's not in the middle of nowhere.

My parents are driving up there right now (from Pensacola). Babies and SIL are in Little Rock, AR.

Haven't heard any real updates, but my SIL did say that Merrick (the boy) peed on himself earlier - that's a good sign!

Thanks again for all the prayers and thoughts. I really appreciate it.

Tony and Stacy checking in from HOT HOT HOT Las Vegas! Today is our last day here and we'll be heading home this afternoon.

We saw Cirque (KA) and the Blue Man Group while we were here. We liked both but Cirque was better. Our basketball team lost in the finals on Friday so we've been just hanging around the casinos all weekend.

I hope everyone got what they wanted on Saturday night for excursions and stuff. I realized that the one excursion I wanted to do and surprise my parents with was canceled.

We saw Cirque (KA) and the Blue Man Group while we were here. We liked both but Cirque was better. Our basketball team lost in the finals on Friday so we've been just hanging around the casinos all weekend.

Quick post - asking for prayers and hugs for my brother and his wife. My SIL just delivered their twin (Marlee and Merrick) this morning around 2 am. They were only at 24 weeks gestation (She was due November 8th). They are 1 1/2 pounds each and fighting like crazy.

My brother is in Iraq now and the Red Cross is going to try to get him home asap to be with his wife. I don't have a lot of details as this has only been happening for past 7 hours.

SIL (Natalie) is surrounded by her family (mom and dad) and we are thankful for that. All prayers and hugs are appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hey all, guess we have to pull the pin on this cruise date. We are having too many "issues" with my Father and no one in the area that can take over when we are away. I realize we are still 3 months away, but it is better to accpet the inevitable (SP) now then a few days before the ship sails. We are cruising again in Feb, so we may just move this booking, as it is paid in full, to make it a back to back.
Good luck, have fun and have a fruity one in my honor!!!!

Do you have a Disney Visa Mike? Start racking up those rewards points and then you can use them on the ship. I know of a few BOBers who have a ton of rewards points already!!

hmm. just make sure you see the parade and hallowishes. we loved them!!

I'm curious to hear responses too. We are basically going to get our MK fix, so we will hit all of the rides we want to. Our plan is to get there promptly at 4:00.

We've started using a different card, too. We get better points, and because we are not headed down to Disney until 2011, we need to accumulate points elsewhere. But my Disney Rewards card is loaded and ready to go!!

chris. i'm glad you're here. i need help putting the washer and dryer back after tiling the laundry room this weekend. how's your back?

We're planning on being there by 4:00 also. We're staying at Saratoga Springs for the first time and would love to be able to look around the resort for the day but we probably won't get there until sometime after noon and there won't be much time to browse.

We are going the 31st. We will probably leave Port Canaveral after breakfast, take our time and check in early at our resort. I am thinking we will grab a decent lunch at DD since we will do counter service for dinner in the park.

In the afternoon we will rest and swim for a little bit. I will probably make ressies at either Pop Century or All Star Movies sometime this week. My kids haven't been to the World since 2/2005 and I don't think Jay remembers a lot, so it should be a fun time. Elaine and I just had a debate about the kids dressing up. She said we already agreed that they could dress up as pirates as that will work for pirate night too.

I just don't want too much luggage!!!
