Best approach...jump right in and please be forgiving of our silliness.

Welcome! I'm Paige, cruising with my DH, Rob. We live in Virginia.

The more you chat, the more comfortable you'll be with this group, so feel free to ask anything...

Hello Alysoun.

Welcome to the group:goodvibes

The best place to start is post one on page one of this thread:thumbsup2

It has lots of info on there to get you started.:thumbsup2

I'm Karen, travelling with hubby Neil and DS Ellis who will be 9.

Have you cruised before?

Ok, question for you early diners...

What rotation are you requesting???

For some reason i seem to remember that PLA was the one to do on the East.

Welcome!

I am Christian, my DW is Elaine and our DD is 9, DS is 7.

We are from Connecticut.

Chris--Cass was just saying that if you request APL, you can see the show at Animator's. What show are you talking about, Cass? Is it where the colors change? I thought that was on each rotation's "first" night in Animator's..

Thanks, Paige. I think I'll start by digging in to Cass's links....seems the best place to start. I'll continue to post as I bring myself up to speed. :)

Yeah I know, it made me think to ask about the rotation everyone was requesting to possibly link up.

Hi Karen,

First/Last Disney Cruise was in 2007. Had a blast! I've forgotten how useful this disboard site can be! What a resource! I'm going to study Cass's links and see what I can learn there. I'm sure I'll have many posts in the weeks to come. :)

Thanks!

Some people prefer being in Lumieres on formal night which would mean they would request PLA, which also puts you in PC for Pirate Night but I really don't care about the restaurant I'm in for each particular night. Everyone in that restaurant will be dressed the same as you so to me, it makes no difference. :thumbsup2
I don't care either way. I am trying to avoid having my character breakfast the morning of our Palo brunch. I wouldn't mind seeing a few friendly faces in the dining rooms either.

Sorry, I just re-read my post and it's rather confusing :rolleyes1:lmao:

There is a table that I posted on the Dining page on the BOB site, where it shows you all possible rotations and which night is which, that should make it easier for everyone to choose which rotation they want.

However, I have to change the Master Chef as they have cancelled that one.

Let me go update that now :thumbsup2

The Eastern is different from the Western. On our cruise, the first 3 nights are rotation, so if you have APL, (like I am requesting) then your AP show where it goes from black & white to colour is on the first night, if you have PLA, then the show is on Monday night and if you have LAP then the AP show is on Sunday night.

I think Kira would get a kick out of seeing the colours as well as Sorcerer Mickey, and she won't be at dinner any other night othan than the first night, so that is why I am requesting APL :goodvibes

Clear as mud? :rolleyes1

Ah, now I get it. You know me, slow on the uptake.:headache:
