Good Evening everyone

Just back from a lovely evening with my brother and his wife. It's thier wedding anniversary tomorrow and they invited us for dinner tonight. They've been married 23years. Lovely bar-be-que, with churrizo tomato baked potatoes and salad. Apricot crumble for dessert. Yummy and I feel so full.

I gonna try and book my ressies tomorrow, but I don't hold out much hope. Not sure the new website is gonna let me.

Just to give you all a head's up, here are the current excursions that have been cancelled:

Coral World Ocean and Island Dive
Historical St. Thomas Walking Tour
St. John's MiniBoat Adventure

These are all at St. Thomas/St. John. I wonder what's going on that they cancelled.

Hey everyone. We are back from an afternoon at the beach and it was a lot of fun. Elaine was laughing at me because I kept saying, "i so needed this." It was true however. There is just something relaxing about sitting on the beach, getting some sun, going in the water, etc. It is very therapeutic. I will post pictures after I put them up on photobucket. FB friends have seen mobile uploads, but I have better ones I took with my camera.

Either way, it sounds great!

Saratoga Springs DVC (Disney). We got a studio for two nights for a total of 26 points.

This will be the first time that we have ever stayed at Saratoga Springs.

Our plane is about 40% capacity right now. The prices are quite high too, so maybe JetBlue will lower them in the next few weeks to boost capacity.

Only 11 of 25 rows have passengers.

What I do't understand is why they cancelled ours so early. I should think more people would book between now and Oct. Guess they base it on past patterns of travel.

Yay Paige!!!! I was a little nervous about the location being so close to the stairs (and some not so great cabin reviews) - but I'm looking forward to it! I promise, we will try to keep the noise down since you won't have your kiddos with you! LOL They must put all us crazy Virginia folks near each other!

I was just over at Disneycruise.com. I see that they have revamped their website. It looks good.

Beth had her birthday four days ago. (Yes, she is an older woman...) We were born the same year, so she is four days older than me.

I have a special treat planned for next month. The kids are visiting their grandparents for couple of weeks. While they are gone, I got a couple of cheap airline tickets. I am sweeping Beth away to Saratoga Springs for two nights. That will be our belated birthday present to each other.

Just the two of us. We haven't even told the kids that we are going.

Since it's our first cruise, we don't get to book until August 10th, but that's ok!! THe only shore excursion we REALLY want to do is the parasailing on CC other than that, we are ok not getting a particular one.

We have something to look forward to, though - the girls are coming home tomorrow morning!! Their plane lands at 9:30 am so we will miss morning church services but get to see our babies!!! (Now, wonder how long it will take for me to be ready to send them back to Florida....)

Can't wait to see where everyone got their Shore Excursions and ressies for.... seems so close now!

Thanks! You should have no problem getting parasailing on CC. We did that last time at the 75 day window and got on the first trip of the day at 10 am I believe.

no prob w/ those ressies. Last time I was able to get everything I wanted except the Palos Brunch and I got that on first day of the cruise. Disney holds back a few ressies for last minute types.
