Yep, now I hope the excursions don't run too much.
Matthew

I don't know if they will ever release the full results of the investigation. Disney generally tries to downplay accidents or fatalities on property. We were on property when the accident occurred. Nobody said anything about what had happened. Even though the buses were all screwed up the next morning. Later, it made sense since they were stretched thin because of the need to bus everybody to the Magic Kingdom.
I got the news over my iPhone about mid-day. One of the Bus Drivers did talk about things a bit with us and one other lady. (We were the only ones on the bus). I made a comment later in the day to another CM expressing condolences for the Monorail Pilot. The CM quickly changed the subject and shooed us out of the store.
There is a book that I would recommend to anyone interested in some of the behind the scenes happenings at Disneyland. Mouse Tales - A Behind the Ears Look at Disneyland. It is very interesting reading.
You still have a couple of days....

Remember at Jeff's house I was telling y'all about how everyone knows all the tricks now? Everyone makes ADR's now, as opposed to just a year or two ago, people were counting on walking right in to restaurants. Y'all will also notice that there are lots more people who work the fastpass system, so you stay in the fastpass line longer. This was very noticeable in June. I know October is a slower season, but I bet people have become savvy to this as well and the crowd level may be up because of it.
The DIS needs to cap their memebership at whatever it is now.![]()

BRB...time for dinner. Mike has it ready for me when I get home.
What a guy!!!![]()
I don't think I ever had loose twelves. For me, twelve is smokin'.Fourteen is more realistic.

I see you and Cass have the same eye ailment.![]()

Oh I hope it's not like that in October![]()
I'm with ya on that sistah! I'm hoping to squeeeeeze into those 12's come Octobah!!!![]()

I'll need to remember that title when I making my Christmas list. You know, I'll probably be emailing you in early December to tell me the title again. lol
I see you and Cass have the same eye ailment.![]()

I noticed a couple of them increased quite a bit. I loved the Golden Eagle Catamarran. It's around $85 now. yikes!!!
Dolphin excursion was way too much for the amount of time that you get with them. I guess I'll have to go to Sea World.
We just may bum around or lounge on a beach somewhere.

I have to be down by October...I'll be d***ed if I'm buying all new clothes for the cruise. I bought several sun dresses and shorts that I'd like to wear.![]()
And I am NOT buying any more fat clothes

That's all we are doing![]()

It's still available on Amazon.com. When I bought it years ago we lived 10 miles from Disneyland and knew several CMs. They use to tell us all the behind the scenes stuff. It's amazing what never makes the papers. Of course, there is stuff that happens at the airport that never makes the papers either. Not because we are making any effort to conceal anything. It just doesn't get caught by the media for whatever reason.

Tonight I'm having a WW pizza - 6 points with salad. I'm up to 7 points so far, so I can save 6 points if I dont eat anything else tonight
I really need to knuckle down - My first 2 weeks were great, I'm slipping already![]()

(Don't you love that all encompassing diagnosis...??)Very undecided about the excursions.
On St Maarten I'd really like to go to Marigot on the French side and to Orient Bay.
They have excursions for this but June was talking about perhaps just walking around the Dutch and French side without booking an excursion and taking a taxi around.
Is this a good idea?
Maybe walking around for a bit and then the Afternoon Beach Bash tour?
Anyone doing this?

Been a crummy day for me today.... super-duper tired since getting back from Chicago and gone downhill since Tuesday. Went to the doctor today and I've got a virus.(Don't you love that all encompassing diagnosis...??)
I was really dehydrated as well and my BP was 160/100 - never been that high before and I don't normally have any trouble with it. I think it was probably because of my dehydration. Came home and drank lots of liquids and hope to get back to work tomorrow...
ON the bright side, the girls come home on Sunday morning... can't beleive 3 weeks has flown by so fast!! Wowwie!!
Well, I am supposed to be resting so I can go back to work tomorrow so I'm off to watch more tv (hey - I slept in until 10:30 this morning!)
