Just got back from the airport. Tony and Stacy's flight to Vegas was cancelled! Not delayed...cancelled! The plane never made it back from Vegas to pick them. They had mechanical difficulties.

Air Tran could not get anyone on another flight until Monday either. They got a call from the airline while they were standing in line with 100 other passengers and were put on stand by for tomorrow night but it didn't look promising.

Lots of ticked off passengers. Even a bride crying her eyes out. Poor girl.

Tony has to be there by Monday morning as he is coaching basketball and he's the only coach who will be there until Tuesday so their options are limited. They tried to get on the Amtrack but it was full. Right now they are headed to Vegas on a Greyhound bus!

Don't ask me why they didn't book another flight. It's a long story.

Their first stop is in Chicago and I'm hoping it's O'Hare and they can get on a flight from there instead.

The ST Cruisers need a little "Dust Stuff" BOBers.

BTW...Kristin and Jesse are in the middle of New Mexico right now.

This is one weird weekend for us.

A bus ride all the way to Vegas with the wife sat beside me?...For Tony..

Stacy is being such a good sport about all this too. Tony just called and said it was a bone headed decision he made because he was ticked off at the airlines.

The hotel they had booked in Vegas has not been very accomodating nor has the car rental place. Hmmmmm, perhaps a lesson in customer relations is in store.

I did - shoes! , some lovely neutral / nude coloured ones. Trying to work it so I dont take quite so many pairs as last time.

Mine is Budget too.
So to get back to the Radisson for the ride to the cruise, is it within walking distance? Or what?

We're returning our rental on the morning to Budget too.

Last time we dropped our families off, then me and my dad took our cars back. We then rode the Budget shuttle back to the port.

I think this is what we'll do - depending on the time. Neil will probably drop us off then take back the rental.

DGS and DGD were amazed that people from around the world are congratulating them on their track accomplishments. They really appreciated it.

Last weeks meet, 1500 runners run together. She is last in the bunch, but the other runners are 5 years or older. In fact she beat two of the three.
